No secret this one is a must win.

Clifford up against the old mob, will be terrorising Holmes and Feldt after their shit origin performances.

Knights should win this 13+ if fair dinkum about making something of this year. Cowboys have caused teams problems this year, but they are there to be broken and beaten well.

Fingers crossed we finally have 1 Ponga, 6 Clifford, 7 Pearce, 9 Brailey - this is the beginning of the the road to the promise land!

No Hoy or Hodgson on reserve list. Either they're confident Ponga will finally be good to go, or Mann will move to fullback and Simi comes in.

Geez we're close to full strength now!

Crossland in the extended squad is interesting, hopefully there's no bigger story to it with one of the halves being under an injury cloud.

Who is missing? Best, Frizell and Lee? Are they the only ones would would walk back in to the starting side now?

Rapt that Hoy is nowhere to be seen.
I would have liked to see Hodgson in the squad just to get him up there with the rest for experience.
That's close to the best team we can field except for Friz and Best not in.

Seeing as we have to go with a shocking centre pairing, I hope Tuala is placed on the left with Hunt. That is where they are both strongest, although Hunt is value on either flank.

About as strong a lineup as we could name.

Strongest 1-17 we’ve named so far this year, sad that it’s taken round 16 for that to happen but at least it gives us some hope moving forward.

As some others have said, this is an opportunity to really put a score on. The cowboys have been alright recently but their defence has been leaky and there are still some big question marks on them away from home.

Ultimately I’ll take a win any way we can but it’d be nice to see some good football now that we’ve got some of our key players back.

Cowboys training cancelled today because a staff member came "in close contact" with someone with covid

Geez, just as we are getting troops back on, the whole season might be postponed again

I was discussing this just yesterday... Would the comp being suspended for 2-4 weeks be a bad thing? In our situation at least I think it could be beneficial as we get the troops back and training together and make a charge for the finals. Only thing is there may be a few others in that boat too, but I think we'll be the biggest beneficiary.

Just need Eddie and Bradman fit and it is season back on! Dom at wing should be where we keep him for now and going into next year. That kid gets better every week. His defence has improved a lot. He gets much lower now.
