https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/09/03/each-teams-run-metres-panthers-knights-make-yardage-gains/

"Adam O'Brien in theory shouldn't have trouble getting his team back to what worked in winning nine and drawing one of their 15 previous games this year.

The turnaround in Newcastle's running game from 2019 is dramatic. Last year they were dead last for metres per game with 1498 per week. This year, even with last week's stumble, they are third best behind only the Eels and Panthers with 1821 per week.

Their improvement of 323 per game is easily the best of any team, with the Panthers next-most improved with 292 per game."

Getting to the attacking zone isn’t the problem
you're right, and this stat only highlights our other issues. Unlike the Panthers ( 2nd points score ) the Knights ( 7th points score ) fail to convert to points.

Interestingly for General Play Passes the Panthers are 1st and the Knights are a lowly 12th.

1 Pass Hit Up's Panthers 12th Knights 1st.

Who's our attacking coach ? Is that Willie Peters?

Thats really interesting, thanks for sharing!

we do seem a bit behind the curve with our attack. 2020 is not about 1 out stuff. I feel our structures and support don’t suit the multiple pass or second phase game, which is a shame when we have a fullback like Kalyn, he could be so much more lethal on the back of second phase play

throw in Best and Tuala and we have no shortage of attacking weapons that just arent being utilized.

So yeah, it's game day

Better get excited, I guess

Don't do it to yourself. Over the years I have learnt to lower my expectations as low as possible so I don't break anymore TVs. Also, if we do get a win, I can actually feel good about it.

Will the honesty session fix all the problems?

Follow Mozza in ... $10 on the million dollar half for FTS and MOTM.

Hope it happens. Only because it’ll make you unhappy.

Ohh, ya big sook.

Pearce is due. Freakin overdue.

Get on!

23/1 for FTS Mozza. On form you'd want double that but I'll take it and be very happy with it.

Make sure you're on MATE. Don't dare jump off.

Yep bombs. Executed differently for two completely different results. Can Pearce ever put you something high and difficult? Ever! It’s beyond frustrating. Stand deeper and give it something, ffs.
