Really happy with that win overall. The Sharks were way below our level of play (they were pretty bad to be honest), but we didn't give them a real sniff at the match after their first try, either. The most pleasing things for me were our contact in D was much improved, and our completions were excellent. The fundamentals were there tonight and we reaped the rewards regularly. It always feels good to give the Sharks a bit of stick given how much shit Gal used to talk about us for whatever reason.

Edit - and of course Kalyn. It's so good watching him punish a slow defender.

This is what I remember from our hard time at the bottom. The players and fans from other clubs that hung sh*t on us expecting we would always stay at the bottom. But now we’re on our way up, I’ll wave at them as we head right past them.

Surprised that Rudolph seems to be copping so much flack from the commentators, media and fans at the game for the Lino tackle. Looks like Graham is the one who needs to worry after Putting his hands between the legs, lifting and driving Lino to the ground, but he’s hardly been mentioned.

He did his fair share of driving the player once he was past the horizontal. Just as grubby as his grub captain.

Was only able to watch highlights. Sounds like Lino did his job but did 2 sharks tries come from his missed tackles?

He's a fav of many in the media.

Lino didn’t win man of the match but played well, kicked in general play creating space and scoring opportunities and kicked a few goals and unlucky to not be awarded a try.
He definitely went well enough to play at 6 next week, and hopefully keeps the goal kicking duties. Don’t know about missed tackles but he made a few.

Only got to see about 30mins total of the game on and off, but what I saw impressed me. Mainly due to the effort and energy. Got the making of a good team just need a few holes filled. I felt the opposite last week but if we can keep up the effort we may make a fight out of our finals match/es

It was good to see Pearce let Lino take charge in the attacking zone. Pearce kept it simple and defended like a champ and ran the ball a lot instead of trying to over play his hand. Got some good balls off as well.

Much better tonight, Pearce put some good hits on.....now he needs to do that every week.

I still think the Sharks made us look good. We looked very flat during the second half, and for a moment there it looked like we were failing to put the game away.

But a win is a win, let's see how we go against the Premiers.

If Glasby is gone, most likely and Ese’ese has gone need another middle/prop in addition to Klem, Dan, JSaf with backup from Saulo and King

King deserves a new deal.

Shibasaki put Dugan on lockdown.

Sharks are going to lose half their team to suspensions, hopefully the warriors sneak into 8th at their expense.
Hopefully Shiba can do similar against Josh Morris next week.

I think Mann is the best long passer with speed in the competition atm.

PS: he is also the Knights HITMAN, he does tackle well above his weight.
