You know what I’d like? I’d like our coach and players to stop talking about how great we are when we’re winning, and start focusing on how bad we are when we’re losing. So many quotes and articles this season making massive claims like best forward pack in the comp. Just cut out all the self hype and beat the damn Bulldogs, that’s what finals teams do.

We’ve been blowing our own trumpet the whole season, actually since before it even started, yet we have an 8-9 win-loss record and will probably not make the top 8. I’m over it. Stop praising yourselves and get the ugly wins when you need to against the rubbish teams.

Do you hear Bellamy using excuses like our “energy levels were down”? No. If the Storm lost to the Bulldogs he would be livid and there would be no free rides. One big winning streak is great but we’re now headed for two long losing streaks either side of it. It starts with attitude.
