The players like Croker and Thompson need to be rewarded for their play. Not just seen as fill ins. The All Blacks mentality has always been if you are playing well enough you stay in the side regardless of player ego or injury lay off. If a so called bigger name miss out then stiff s###.

I like the look of Croker.

Croker has ball playing and general passing in his locker too which gives him a point of difference off the bench. Saw it quite a bit in the trials and it looked comfortable not clunky.
