Injuries are killing us aren't they. We also have no dummy half. We have fallen apart at the end of the year.

Yep

Farah
Liddle
Aloiai
Matulino
Packer
Mbye
Fonua

6 or 7 of our first choice 17 out. Glad Reynolds will get a run but your 3 most experienced props out against 3 Origin middles will be too tough.

We’ll fight but ultimately go down

To be fair only 3 maybe 4 of those listed above have played consistent first grade this year; Farah, Aloiai, Mbye and you could maybe include Matulino.

Well 6 of the 7 Were injured when they were in first grade

Plus it makes me feel better when we inevitably end our season on Saturday

Those are big losses though and especially as Liddle is out as well.

Jeez the timing of Nathan Brown announcing his departure is a bit weird, considering they can still make a solid finals push

Hopefully they're off because of that

I reckon Madge has named the best team he can. I hope Jennings finds some form.

They still look better than us but they looked good on paper last time we played them and we won.

I'd argue that the best team possible does not include the slug, but only having one prop named outside the run-on side shows the problems we are having with injuries.

If we weren't shown any leniency when we had Cory Patterson and Sitalika Akaoula playing on the wings, I doubt we will now

It’s been said on another forum that Maguire has put Momirovski to center as Ponga generally attacks to the left and they trust his defence over a rookie in Talau

Talua didn't look anything special in that first hit out. His defence looked suspect as well. He may come good as it's only early days but I reckon Madge has picked the best team he can.

The issue is that the team isn't that good even though it's probably the best Madge can pick.

Talau played about as good as he could as a rookie playing against some of the best players in the world targeting him all game.

I respect madges decision though and hope it's the right one
