Let's see...
  • Panthers coming in with really good form
  • Already beat the Panthers this year which means they'll be primed for payback (especially Moylan since Teddy outshone him last time)
  • Lost our best player and replacing him with Rankin
Unless Brooks and Moses kill it, we'll most likely be saying goodbye to our slim finals hopes. Would love to eat my words though.

Don't write us off just yet. All our attacking brilliance has been coming from the right edge with Moses in great form and Kev/Noffa capitalising. Now that Brooks is back and we finally have JAC on the left wing again, we will see some crazy, all-out, guns blazing attack. I reckon we will see 60+ combined points in this game.

I think our weakness will be having JAC playing. He is good in attack but also makes a lot of mistakes, a complete turnstyle in defence and iffy under the high ball. I am sure the left side now will be under attack by the Pennies who will kick the high bombs and put pressure there. I just hope they don't and we can manage to hold them out

I think JAC adds a lot to the team. I get what you are stating that he can make some mistakes but he can also score tries.

JAC iffy under the high ball is a bit of a myth .
Catches more then Nofo and Rankin .

JAC is thr best winger at the club imo. Especially when you consider he is only going to get better.

Hard to reach that level when you're in and out of the side like a yo yo
Doesn't make any difference, he let in 5 tries in one game, too light, not good under the high ball and a turnstyle, good in attack if he gets a break but defence wins you games

We persisted with blokes like Moses and Brooks look how far they've come

Give him 5 straight games and see how he fares otherwise it's pretty hard to judge, now we'll probably watch in awe of him killing it at Melbourne

Any half decent outside back will look great in a strong team though. Melbourne have run with nuffs like Morgan and Blair in the centres most of the year and barely lost a game.

There's enough obvious weaknesses in our defence as it is.

To be honest JAC has definitely dropped off intensity since he started the year. He still likes to attack but shys away from defence . In saying that it coincided with the lack of interest the club had shown toward him so why bust your balls anymore when its not being noticed.
Anyway id rather watch a game winner make some errors than Rankin make errors and acheive little.

Pretty much this, why bother giving it your all knowing your the best winger at the club to know it's only gonna be wasted in reserves

Hopefully he has a belter tonight
