Just wanted to comment on the "if Bird's try was given it wouldn't have even gotten to golden point" argument.....the phenomena known as reality doesnt work that way ..if it was awarded then everything else after that point would have been different. It's not just about the score..it's the effect the score at any point in the game has on every player on the field and the teams as a whole. ..broncos could have gone on with it or become complacent and benji could have lifted ( becsuse of Birds try) and pulled a rabbit out of the hat and we could have gone on to flog them. ..no telling apart from the fact that you can't just add those possible points to the final score and think that's how it would have finished....it's a nonsense argumemt
