I just want to see us compete hard for 80 minutes and narrow the gap between our good games and bad games. If we do that we will win enough games to play finals football.

Manly are a different team with Turbo and playing at Brookie. We'll need points because I can't see us keeping them under two tries.

This game is the real test for mine.
We just scraped past Melbourne who are at sixes and sevens so far this season, ditto for the Bondi scum. Parramatta couldn't beat an egg and the Slender Man's tentacles managed to steal one from us in Campbelltown.
This'll tell us if we're a top 8 team.

Yep, I am far less confident of this game than the previous ones.

If they play an expansive game they'll cut us open wide IMO.

Or....

Nofo will bag an intercept or 2 leading to tigers tries

Or....

our backline defence has improved so much that we will bustle them into error each time they try and shift, eventually we then capitalise

Even if we lose, we will remain in 4th unless Titans win by 44

I’d rather win though & stay 4 points clear of 5th

We’ve got to make a statement this week & beat these conceited grubs who fancy themselves particularly on their home turf.I know it’s early in the season but we win at Brooky we will place one foot in semis.

Very interesting to c what contribution grub makes & how much packers absence is felt re our recent dominance of the middle.

Did anyone catch the start of the ISP Cup game on Ch 9 today?

Joel Caine was that Gamble was not playing because he's on standby for 1st grade tomorrow.

With Reynolds on the bench it's an interesting call, I wonder who's in doubt.

I reckon it’s on standby for Reynolds knowing how dodgy his hammies are

Channel 9 just said Rocco out,
Aloai to start and lolohea onto the bench...
Makes for a strange bench
Reynolds, sue, mck, lolohea...
2 utilities?

Considering Lolohea played reserve grade yesterday makes it even stranger.

Rochow's in my SuperCoach team too. f**k!

f**k me we’ve been pounded with injuries

How the hell can lolo play if he wasn’t named in the original 21? Gamble seems to be ahead in the pecking order atm

I think it’ll go

8. Twal
9. Liddle
10. Matulino
11. Lawrence
12. Aloiai/Einsenhuth
13. Aloiai/Einsenhuth

14. Reynolds
15. Chee Kam
16. Sue
17. Grant

I’d be confident if we were at full strength but not so much anymore

Lolo was named in the 21, but was cut yesterday with McQueen.

Therefore he can't be playing today. Has to be either Grant or Gamble in.

Could be an error by channel 9 but tui was listed on the bench in number 19

You would think grant would play as it’s a forward who has dropped out...

Tui is big enough to play lock but I can’t see how he would be used esp with Reynolds already on the bench

Gamble and Grant are 18th and 19th man so probably still need another 2 to drop off

Rocco is a big loss, especially on top of losing Packer earlier in the week.

But at good test of depth.
