For both of them he would have had to pivot his body and weight off one foot (basically step hard in the opposite direction to his movement) to get there. As someone with a bung knee, I can tell you that's something you really don't want to do unless you want to break something. He's got no confidence in his knees, and probably rightly so.I thought Hodko's only saving grace was his strong defense but he literally just let them walk in for 2 tries.. What is up with that?
Think of him like a boat, can't turn or pivot sharply at speed. Straight lines are fine.
