Not sure what to make of it, but Kalyn hasn't shown up for the press conference either. Friz is sitting in instead.
He seemed a bit off on the field since he got hit late during the first half (we got a penalty for it). Probably a 6 week injury.

KP not turning up to the presser is only going to increase speculation on him - relationship with the coach and team mates, form, does he want to be here, etc. It’s a terrible look, and he better have a good excuse.

Thankfully for me, I was on the ferry coming back to Perth from Rottnest with my wife and the in-laws (very religious and whose English is rather limited) and I was watching the game on my phone with the volume down low. Being in such a public space and sitting with the wife's parents meant I couldn't be my vocal, passionate self this game.
While the scoreline and general play mirrored all that we've seen for several weeks in a row now, I felt disappointed at the loss, but it didn't affect my mental health as it normally would. Usually I'm in a crap mood for the rest of the night.

Given this, I'm booking myself a trip to Rotto every week up until September if anyone wishes to join me.

Went to the pub to watch last night. Wasn't overly optimistic but quietly confident we'd put in a better showing than the last two weeks and maybe the fact they were wearing such an important jersey, might make them put in an effort. Mrs says "is that Cogger playing" and my heart sank. I said "we're in for a f**king long night". The fact we held them to 6-0 for so long in the first half, just made the crap afterwards even more painful. I'm not sure the Sharpe at 5/8 experiment is working. If AOB insists on playing Cogger, he need to have Gamble or Hastings in there, if he wants Sharpe to improve, then he needs one of those two beside him. Putting him with Cogger is literally suicide, Cogger has the game management skills of a blind mouse with his hands tied behind his back, inside a leather sack. AOB keeps saying the team will start to get it together, but we are just running out of season and, being pessimistic here, I can't, for the life of me, see where our next win comes from. I know there is no one on the horizon to take over from AOB, but I am fast losing faith in any ability he has to turn it around.

On the positive side, won 3 meat trays at the raffles and Captain America: Brave New World wasn't the worst thing I watched last night.

I love Sharpe. Great footy player. Is he the halfback that'll take us to a Premiership in 2-3 years, probably not. If he was at the Storm, I reckon he would be their 14 or first player they bring in if any half or back is injured. Kind of like Fa'alogo at the moment.

He is a talent and a half though. Want to see him play weekly for us but don't see how he is a halfback leading the team around just yet.
