Did anyone claim their free ticket for this game as part of their Qld Knights membership and end up with a dud seat? They’ve put me behind the video screen FFS.

They sent me an email with my ticket (even though I probably can’t make it) and I’m in section 534.

Yeah I’m in section 533 which according to the map is the section right alongside the video screen. I would have preferred the next level up than where I am. I couldn’t buy extra tickets either through Knights membership so my wife and her friend are at the opposite end of the ground in the Newcastle supporters bay.

Not to worry, I emailed Knights membership and asked that they don't auto-renew my membership for the 2020 season. I want to support the club but if I can't sit with family and friends who just casually support the game well then I don't see much point in having a membership.

Happens every time. I'm not sure I will bother renewing my QLD membership next season. My wife has her birthday party so I used mine for the Titans game I asked if they can put me out of the direct sun so the kids didn't have to deal with the heat but it was ignored. Wasn't a huge deal as the ground was empty so we just moved to the other side but it was still annoying.

Roosters (for a lower price) get 2 free tickets to a game.

CHN is out due to illness in the family. Lewis, Martin and Holland getting dropped is no doubt in response to how badly that left side has struggled defensively for the dogs.

Yep, it was a similar scenario last year, the dogs turned up with a virtual no-name side and smashed us at home. Nothing would shock me these days.

Pretty sure Pearce and Ponga both went off hurt in the 1st half and Griffin nearly lost his left leg in the 2nd. So getting hammered wasn’t exactly unexpected.

Suncorp had a terrible surface to begin with; mad far worse with the rain and it being torn up by two games back to back. If the groundsmen work on it throughout the night and morning, then it should be solid for our game at least. Thankfully we're in the 3pm game rather than 7:30pm.
