There is now clear definition around the charge and there are no carry over points and once all our players serve their current time for offences already committed they come back with a clean record.

Whilst it will never be perfect it is fairer than the shit we have been copping the last few years.

Does not surprise me at all.

I saw most of 2 nd half of Broncos/ South’s last night. In only that 30 minutes or so countered 4 probable ‘hip drop’ type tackles. Only started counting when I saw the most obvious 1 st up and then another a minute or so later. All looked accidental to be fair as was Fui tackle was.

It was brought in to stop a premeditated charge into legs of a held player. Nearly all hip drops are accidental as the tackler wrestles with the momentum of the attacking player. Fui tacked a player one out around the mid drift and got swung through about 130 degrees as the Parra winger twisted trying to break away and make more ground. Fui simply lost footing holding on grimly. He the Parramatta winger dad honestly stated it was an accident.

Wouldnt get hopes up about this judiciary change. I believe the same faces still there just expanding the group? Yeah yeah

We are the 'bad boys' and the whipping boys of the comp. Flat out bias. This idea spurred on by JDB and BBQgate just proliferates through the media and the to the judicial arm of the comp. Successful teams with big noted 'icons' of the game get the special treatment during matches and in the judiciary and the commentators support it for the most part. Raiders and Eels are two other teams that cop similar treatment. Not saying it is exclusively us.

I'm not denying that McGuire and Fui have to change aspects of their defence but when I see this injustice on paper it makes my blood boil.

Bulldogs Luke Thompson broke the Knight Daniel Safiti’s leg with a ‘ hip-drop ‘ tackle during the trials . The poor sod is now out for the season thanks to the idiot . He copped a $2700 fine and compare that to Fui tackle I know which was the worst of the two .

Judiciary to Thompson - “ Well you have been found guilty of the charge , however it was only his leg you broke so we fine you $ 2700 , but if it was his neck , then we would have no option but to consider a couple of weeks suspension ! “

A-holes ! 😡

I will be interested to see if Collins gets suspended this week after being fined for a cannon ball tackle during the trials. Did another one in the game against the knights and was put on report.

Maybe Sloan with that so called Billy Slater OK shoulder bump in the last 3 mins has 2 weeks on the sidelines coming!

All good points just one glaring error. The Knights player is only out a few weeks.

The Foxsport report did say that the Knights medical staff initially believed that he would be out for a few weeks , however after the scan revealed the bone had been broken , they then reaccessed the time frame to the entire season .

I hate sounding paranoid but the Dragons seem to be given no leeway at all whenever one of these arguable rules are applied. I cite Fui, Rava and even the cleanskin Frizell who was suspended for brushing a referee (only player in memory to be suspended for this innocuous action) as my evidence. JDB was lucky as his misdemeanour was heard in a real court but even then it took 2 trials to sort of being cleared.

The Dragons have to stand up for themselves . Or these
NRL administrators will see the Dragons as a easy victory. Pushing them around from pillar to post, handing out massive penalties whenever we front the judiciary.

Apparently Collins no case to answer for his secong canon ball tackle in 2 weeks, no charges laid out of the Knights Rorters game.
