On a more serious note people, has anyone thought to venture in to the panthers forum and remove all sharp and pointy objects. I know if the shoe was on the other foot id like someone to stop me from self harming.
while we are at it someone venture into the panthers dressing sheds as well and remove all sharp and pointy objects or matty elliott might end up stabbing one of his players he would have been bloody ropable

the panthers were robbed by poor officiating. kinda ironic given all the luck they received last week from referee shayne hayne. ouch.

We weren't robbed by poor officiating, the Eels were simply better and deserved the win.

Congrats Eels fans.

I noted there was no Penrith press conference posted. Does that mean that Matty Elliot didn't give one.

Can't blame him if he didn't.

Congratulations to the Parra fans.

That Hayne try even excited me.

Was a thrill to watch for all football fans.

To put it flatly,we shot ourselves in the foot by having a false sense of security after 22 minutes and leading 22-0 unlike Manly in the other game who went on with it.

Panthers sort of self destructed, got penalised twice for having a go at the refs, at once stage they gave away 4 penalties in row in the space of 4 mins and then dropped too much ball in the 2nd half.
We made them pay for every error and defended well. Panthers 1 line break, Parra 5.
4 tries from kicks and the other one from a eels error. We just need to compete for those bombs instead of standing like statue watching (like the inglis try in GF 2009).
We have improved from last week and should improve next week, I think we cna beat the Dogs we have the wood over them lately.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :lol::lol:.... I started reading this thread and got thinking by the third page if a few on here might actually lose it completely and go right of the rails..... To experience the emotions of the Eels fans on this forum who have no confidence in their 2010 Premiership winning team is absolutely laughable..... but unfortunately is heart attack material for those not emotionally stable.....

Awesome graphic work their Parra09, one of the best on Hayne.....

It wasn't all Hayne by any stretch. He did have a blinder but if it was just him you'd have lost.

but we didn't so f*ck off.

Daneel, you are going too far... TheFrog was very supportive, not nasty, was being impartial and was very gracious in his teams loss to the Eels.... I actually think you telling him to f**k off requires an apology..... This is the kind of crap that has me feel so ashamed to be an Eels supporter. Please grow up and show some respect towards those who showed respect and friendship towards you and all other Eels supporters.

I do not recall a Eels side EVER that did not use a reserve (now interchange) until a few mins to go. Ando must have thought that introducing Te Maari would upset the momentum ? Still doesn't really make any sense. As much as Belly's use of Mannah in SoO.

so LTM did get on the field Marty???

Yeah his stats were

1 min
1 run - 13m
1 tackle
0 errors
0 missed tackles

 Welcome back to FG after a long spell away.

A bit of Trivia: he made his FG debut against the Eels in 2007. A rare Perth junior too.

Ha Pete nice write up today in the papers ( forget which paper I think the bTelegsaraph) about pie in the sky. Will done looks like someone is going to try to get credit for what your guys have started!!!!

Cavalier Developments and Ken Beissel have been the key to the success of the Pie in the Sky matches, and what is planned for 2011 is simply going to be amazing.
The old saying "It's amazing how much can be achieved, when no one cares who gets the credit"
Thanks for your words of encouragement - and good luck to Billy Millard and the Peach on their endeavours to get their plan implemented. We will work on ours, irrespective..

Anyway this thread is about last nights game. What looked liked ending in tears, ended in cheers.
After 20 minutes I was thinking, 'Gees Reddy and Burt look past it..About time we cleaned the lot of them out'..By the end of the game, I had them on the end of the Test backline.
Danny Mortimer is a tough little bloke. I know a lot on here don't like his attack, but watch him closely, his defence is like a terrier. He will get his attacking mojo back, don't discard him.
The kicking game is getting better. Robo, KK and Hayne seemed to have been working on it..Usually the ball goes down the throat of an opposition player.
There is still a lot of football to be played in this competition. Coming back from a 22-0 deficit must do wonders for the team's confidence in each others ability.
