So ................. What does everyone think?

Cant say I was too impressed but then again I was enthralled with Parramattas new found desire and committment and probably only watching one side.
Did he do anything to make Parra supporters regret he is no longer an Eel? Did I miss anything?

I don't think he was necessarily terrible last night , but I do think in the balance of probabilities , he won't be missed by us this year.

He started to look dangerous with the Warriors 18 points down and throwing it wide early.

But when the game was tight he was absolute gash. At one stage he had more errors than runs.

It vindicates my support of the decision not to compete with the Warriors offer.

Lovely bloke. Sublime skillls. Must train harder. Needs angry pills.

<feel free to substitute the above with Inu>

Same old, same old. Has moments of brilliance but then makes errors that invites the other side back into the game. He might be better of at 5/8 rather than at lock because maybe then there would be a bit more of a distinction in his mind as to when he runs and when he distributes. His current role at lock forward combines the two and though he may come up with a miracle offload he'll also hand the ball over at a crucial time in your own half.

Having said that if he was 5/8 here I'd be happy. But he's not.

I don't know about that. I'd love him to be playing 5'8th at the moment for us... as long as he's coached out of trying to throw offloads on every play, something Kearney could do surely.

He looked like he didnt want to play against us to be honest. I think Ivan will be telling him not to kick anymore.

Didn't have a good game and I hope he cops it from the Warriors and their fans. Maybe then he will wake up and realise that it was him that was the problem and not the people around him.

Id still rather him with us then against us, but not for $300K+ a year.

Seemed like he was trying too hard to impress and making errors as a result. Has plenty of time this year to improve

I would like to have kept him but I think the club needed to send a message to him and Inu - that lazy, uninterested players who only fire up a few games a year cannot expect big contracts. A guy with his size and talent should have achieved more in the game by now

Yeah, if he was a 5/8th he would not be running into the defense with a loose carry as much.

He would be passing way before the defense got to him. If he elects to run, then yeah, he might make mistakes.
