Matt Elliot - What are your thoughts now Raiders fans?

It's the off season, so I thought I'd bump this old thread for a bit of a laugh.

I guess it's true what they say about coaches - the regard the club and fans have for departing coach is usually a good indication of how they will go at their follow up appointment (see also Michael Hagan).

mxlegend99's above quote really sums up the situation.

I tend to be the type to hold a grudge, so I would have taken far more pleasure in Elliott's failings if it were at a club I hate, like Newcastle, instead of a club I actually rather like.

That said, he's bloody lucky to still be coaching.
