its just an endless world of expectations coupled with disappointment. I think i must have subconsciously known that supporting Spurs would be not too dissimilar to being a Parra fan and I an a glutton for punishment.

Wasn't happy about the Crouch signing. Obviously Redknapp has managed him before, but he doesn't inspire me at all. We need defenders after all the off season injuries...

Reportedly we will for 2011.

Clearly the club are chasing an experienced back up for 2010. He may only have played 86 games over a number of years which is cause for some concern however the combined total of first grade games of our signed halves for next year would struggle to be even a quarter of that.

Given his injury woes he would surely be paid on incentive payments including a base salary.

If he does come it isn't a bad signing based on depth and experience.

Would be good if we could pick up that Turner bloke from Hull as is being rumoured. He did a very solid job for them last season and would be a good long term option (if there is such a thing in the EPL) for when King is finally finished.

I'm not too disappointed about Crouch and would rather him than Bent. Keane surely will not stick around for long if Defoe/Crouch partnership kicks on.

The two Kyles? One of those hasn't played much top level football though I think so he won;t be much use just yet. Who are the two on the way?

Kyle Norton played against West Ham the other night and looked rather good I thought

The other two are a way off yet but certainly nothing to get excited about

I don't see why anyone would be against signing him. Let's keep in mind Robson has not signed for next yr, and with Albert Kelly leaving for the Sharks, we're going to have absolutely no depth in the halves next year. If we lose 3 halves to injury/ walking out, like we did this year we'll be screwed. We were lucky this year we had Mortimor who turned out a decent player.
