The Penrith Franchises of Mc Donalds, KFC and Burger King rejoice his home coming, and wish him well in his return to Windsor.

I'm happy to have him back and was disappointed that he left. He has clearly shown that with proper coaching and structures in place he can be a force in first grade, now it's up to Cleary and our coaches to get the best out of him.

I too hope we didn't overpay, but I think he should compete strongly for a starting centre spot next season, he was very good again last night.

The bloke is a massive talent so i am very pleased to have him back.

If he can keep his weight in check and bring his work ethic from Melbourne he could be a sensational signing which will add some punch to the centres on the opposite side to Jennings.

Massive loss for Storm IMO...the guy is a bloody good player and like you all say if he gets the discipline right then he can become a really strong first grader.

Interesting signing.

My major concern is that unless coote makes a move into the halves this could force Gordon to play on the wing.

on his recent form like last night for example, its suprising that hes gonna just pack up and go, he was virtually going nowhere at penrith, he went from possible soo player (apparently mal rated him highly from his souths logan days) to bench warmer for windsor. hopefully he can keep on the right track and with gus at penrith hopefully he can help keep bob on the right track

Glad we got him back - thought this thread was going to be about how well he was going and what a loss he has proven to be. We should send all of our promising young players to Bennett or Bellamy and let them turn them into first grade players.

A year under those coaches does wonder for players. Blair was always a huge talent, but Matt Elliott was never able to get it out of him. Obviously he didn't leave on bad terms with us. :D

Unless he's being signed to play 6. He's got a great long kick which is an area we've been weak in for ages.

Like others I'm pretty happy with this. He's shown this year that if he plays under a good coach he plays good footy. By that logic his second stint should be much more successful than the first.

Just to add where Mascord is coming from he put to Bellayache beore last night about reports before the game that Blair was going back to Penrith and the great man said it's " It's the first i've heard of that, i'm pretty sure he's with us for another year and as far as we're concerned he won't be going nowhere" or words to that affect.

The bottom line is that unless he's got an option to leave he can't and if the Storm want to keep him which it sounds like they do after what Bellamy said he won't be moving to Penrith next year.

Linkage of the interview.

This bloke is a massive talent. Leary let him go, but then again, Leary had a massive CRAMP.

I questioned this as well as there has been announcements anywhere apart from the Daily Telecrap.

Well what a weird turn of events.

For Blair's sake I'd like to see him stick with Melbourne for awhile. He seems to be really responding to Bellamy.

Penrith still have Jennings, Vaivai and potentially Gordon to enjoy in the centres.

Just heard on ABC radio that Blair knocked back the pennies offer and will stay at the storm.
