Well as one of the many posters who have rubbished McGoldrick and his tackling style I must admit he had an improved game this week with his tackling, must have had some sessions with ET this week. Now lets hope Ise has the same lessons this week if he stays in 1st grade as his tackling went amiss this week and looking at statistics I think we had 37 missed tackles against manly and Ise contributed his share in that especially in 2 cases which led to tries.

I called the Mcgoldy/Kent link at the start of the year. It's so true...

Mcgoldrick should stay at 4.

I'm still not a big fan. 6 missed tackles is pretty poor, and Manly were targeting him all game.

He's only improving because he couldn't get worse.

But let's hope he proves me very wrong!

He still has his 'grabby' moments at times, however, admitidly he did have a much more improved game in both defence and attack this week. He just needs to make sure the player has the ball before he puts a hit on them ;-)

Good to see McGoldrick live up to the hype that has surrounded him. His last two performances since he has come back into first grade have been excellent. I thought he had been unfairly targeted by people in some cases beacause of the wraps on him and i was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for a little while. While i like Franze based on his 2002/early 2003 performances McGoldrick will certainly hold his centre spot for the rest of the year if he keeps going the way he is and our centre problems should hopefully be solved for the time being.

He still lets players get on his outside too easily. Which is a worry as Simmo is still learning the wing and tends to be sucked in. For mine, McGoldrick still has pleanty of work to do.

Its obvious you had McGoldrick on the tackle bags last week GMAB.
Whats your opinion on the Jason Williams drop back to PL?

Who's Alias is Cockroach? C'mon, have a guess. I reckon it's SS.

You can guess that if you want
But I dont use aliases

Why would I? I say what I want, no matter how outrageous or stupid or outrageously stupid under my own nickname

I think McGoldrick has shown improvement in the last 2 games. He made some good breaks and found space against the Roosters and then backed it up with another good performance against manly.

I think he deserves to keep his spot, and am interested to see if he can continue to improve
