To be fair, ov isn't censoring anyone, far from it in fact. He's merely offering his own opinion, and after 1420 posts, has finally posted something that I for one can agree with. You have to admit Crush's post was pretty dumb!?

Mate all I said was that if Mary could get the team playing some more attacking attractive footy then maybe he would re-gain some respect given his poor season last year. I don't think thats an outlandish or dumb statement, just an unpopular one clearly....

I know everyone on this forum wants mary gone at all costs but I don't mind him. The long off season has given me time to cool down and become positive again about his coaching ability. Maybe he just had a bad year last year? Let's see how we go this year. If he gets the team playing some attacking footy then at least he can regain some respect even if he isn't coach in 2018.

This is the coach who thought it was worth playing JDB at 1/2 against Brisbane in Brisbane when we were fighting for a spot in the top 8.

I personally think Mary should have been sacked last year for the shit he dished up, from selections to game plans, and everything in between.

Mary had a very bad season last year, made poor selections, seemed to have little to no real game plan, constantly made excuses in the press conferences and for some reason kept talking about 2015 like it was a fantastic thing to scrape into the finals. At the completion of last season I wanted him sacked and a new coach brought in, personally I wanted JD to be given the job, that didn't happen. Anyway here we are now about to kick off 2017 and mary is the coach. I listened to that interview link embedded in the thread and was impressed with Mcgregor saying that if the team isn't scoring points this year he won't have a job next year. I guess thats when I made my "dumb" post that I was feeling more "positive" about mcgregor.
You're right, its a forum and everyone is entitled to their opinions, I guess I don't feel the need to comment on other peoples posts when I feel that they are "dumb". I just think to myself, thats dumb, and move on to the next comment. If ov feels it necessary to voice his opinion and say its the dumbest post ever bar none then thats his choice I guess. We are all different.

I like your optimism Crush.I too hope McWrecker has learnt from past seasons, his talk sounds good & inspires a little hope,just his capability concerns me

I too thought he's sounding more positive in this BSB interview then I saw the interview yesterday on Dragons.com where he talked about playing 'a dragons style of footy thats suits Dragons'. That's not what I wanted to hear. Doesn't sound like he's learned anything.
