Whats the goss with RM?

Is he still under contract>?

With Senter retiring....Ive heard Mears will not be here next year...why?

Farah sounds like hes as popular with Sheens as a splinter in the arse...

Fitzy to hooker....at least the rest of the forwards can cover his defensive deficiencies.

fitzy might end up at hooker given that Whatuira and Elford will be first choice centres. farah better fix up his act and start showing respect for his coach theres no doubt farah will play first grade given he tones down the attitude. if farah and fitzy are the hookers than galea will play in his normal position of lock.

Sheens has apparently indicated that Ben Galea will be the 1st choice hooker with either Robbie Farah or Fitzy playing off the bench!

if galea plays hooker than halatau deserves the spot at lock. If there's no starting spot next season for dene then theres something wrong.

Well since both Galea and Farah are better players, obviously he won`t be required.

Sheens also stated that he expects Liam Fulton to become our regular lock. And rightly so.Liam is a great young footballer who hasn`t yet been given a go playing 1st grade in his rightful position.Halatau and Bronson Harrison are both great young players also, but neither have the ball skills that Liam posessses, hence making him the more obvious choice to play lock.

id be happy to see fulton atleast on the bench i rate him highly. i think halatau would be higher on the pecking order given that hes played 27 games compared to fultons 4.

Halatau is a great player,I can`t see no reason why he couldn`t or shouldn`t start in the second row.A good lock should have ball playing skills.Liam does whilst Dene is primarily a straight hard runner of the ball.

thats why galea would be an even better option caus he has the ball skills and hes played plenty of first grade and keep fulton as a bench option but actually playing more than 15 minutes per game i find that ridiculous. id have no objection with Fulton starting at lock although i doubt it because he hasnt played many games.

I agree that Galea plays his best at lock, but unfortunately as Sheens said on Wednesday night, the 4 most important positions on the field are 1,6,7 and 9.
We need a top quality hooker and unfortunately there is none available,so moving Galea there is pretty much our only choice!

Galea is playing his best footy for sometime now,he should stay in the backrow. As for Haletau I would work on his sliding defence so he could partner the Fat in the centres next year.
My back row for 05 would be 13-Fulton 12-Harrison and 11-Galea,I think O'Neill has the Corey Pearson syndrome he thinks he is Wally Lewis throwing dummies and cut out passes out in the centres. We need forwards who can hit it up and either put a bloke through a hole or step through them selves, putting the defence in two minds.
Buckets was playing great at the end of last year but I don't think he should be in front of our young blokes next year.
