The thing that gives me the shuts about the media is this line that they trot out about St George supporters being the most passionate in the comp. It's a backhanded complement - a pat on the head - allowing them to dismiss any criticism that comes from us.

Show me any fan that likes their team losing. Show me any fan that would be okay with the team going backwards. Show me any fan that would be comfortable with a 30-year premiership drought and the prospect of another one.

Gould goes one step further by saying "some sections of the fan base are disgruntled"
Oh really?
The inference being that McGregor and the Board still have a lot of support within the current fan base.
All aimed at justifying the mind numbing perseverance with McGregor as coach.
I think falling memberships and bums on seats at home games tell a different story.
All they need to do is be honest and objective instead of skirting the issue of a 7 year failure.
Fans could at least understand and support that.

1/. Gordon and the St George leagues club need to put their hands in their pockets to payout McGregor and bring in a new coach
2/. Massive problems at the club which will take some time to fix...suggested as Bennett would only be here for 3 years , may not be the best option.
3/. Suggested chasing Peter O'sullivan for recruitment along with a decent coach...

That's all i can remember but...basically gave it to the Board on both sides......

Again I will repeat myself there was no review done.

Gus had a chat with Mcinnes and Graham and that was it. He then recommended Flanno. That’s it.

We have been spun a lie that is up there with the CCP and Covid19.

If I am wrong or lying I ask anyone who was present at the review to message me and give me the right story cause I have the truth but can’t say much.

why do you think Gus has blocked any attempt by anyone asking about it.
I asked him and put some details in which only he would know on Twitter and he blocks me.

Pete was my old coach at Penshurst RSL. Won a Jersey Flegg with Saints as coach in 96. A Saints man through and through. But they knew this and should have identified him 20 years ago when he was in our system.
