Media in the Finals Series

I noticed that the headlines in the NRL media are having a common theme amongst them.
I cannot access all the 'papers' etc, but I can see the headings of the stories.
I decided to do a count up of whom is getting the most coverage, we all pretty much know who, but did you know the extent of it all?
The headlines on todays outlets paint a pretty big picture.
I realise that some have the same stories as they are owned by the same conglomerate, this is just to show what an individual sees if they are clicking on the said outlet.
I've only used Sydney and Brisbane papers, except for the Australian, plus I used Fox NRL.
Like I said, you will easily guess who is getting the headlines, its the extent that is a bit shocking.

Would want to hope the defense is better. Few lapses really cost us.

Importantly though hope our pack can get over the top of theirs.

Felt a bit like the cows made way to many metres out of their own end with up tempo runs.

At the ground we rarely seemed in great position to nail a real quality 5th tackle kick.

Which resulted in a lot of pressure in the back forth field position battle.

Great Compilation of media bias BBB! When I paid attention years ago I noticed a similar trend in pre Melbourne cup,media beat up stories. Picked a few. I still dont think its an unassailable advantage.but yeah the boys got to be on front foot from kickoff till the siren ,Game plan has to be ,astute, and followed,and i dont think it hurts at all to have a few media leeks /releases etc like Wayne bennet is known for ,targeting things like 10 metres , play the ball illegallities, or whatever might give souffs an unfair advantage. Make the referees aware that those things are being watched.

Further to that, Im a bit worried that Fitz comes across as smart , a nice guy, fair minded guy, .Is he hard nosed enough to give it back to fight the media bias and its influence on ref and bunker and crowd ?

This wasn't necessarily about our lack of content, it was the lack of content for every other team except South's, plus the fact the media are putting more effort into a few other teams that aren't even playing anymore.
The only time the Sharks get any media coverage to this extent is when we're on the nose haha (pun intended).
Everyone is tipping South's, we are the true underdogs in this game.
I love it.

I was thinking this just now when reading @Chimp Post in the other thread.
At this point in time it doesn't seem to be Fitz's way to play that game. If we lose again with some controversial calls it may change his ways.

For what it is worth, it was 2-all on the Big Sports Breakfast this morning. Blocker and Clarky went for Souths, Loz and some other guy filling in for Middo went Sharks. Had no idea who that guy was on this morning in Middo's place, anyone know?
