inglis to 5/8, i dont care what you nay sayers have to say about burning him out there, but bottom line is he is rock solid in defense, and he has a free ticket to roam around the middle of the park with the ball in hands, and with billy sneaking up behind him evertime he puts the foot down, watch out other teams, hill needs to go to lock, and we will have an awesome forward pack and unbelieveable interchange bench.

btw tamazoid, if u plan on leaving billy out, maybe u should have another look at fridays nights game, he is a liability in the front line, he will stay at fullback

Backline of

1 - Slater
2 - Geyer
3 - King
4 - Webster
5 - Turner
6 - Inglis
7 - Cronk

Looks damn impressive

I think only the Broncos and Dragons come close to that backline the Storm has.

sorry mate a lil bias there but seriously

Hornby
Best
Gasnier
Cooper
Morris
Barrett

that has alot of experiance, and proven talent. yoiu have the australian centres... while melbourne have young exciting players... i still rate the dragons with a better line up in the forwards and backs.

Hunt
Tupuo
Tate
Hodges
boyde
Lockyer
(dunno halfbacks name)

i think the melbourne backline is more stable atm than brisbane... but with tate hodges lockyer and hunt, you write these players off at your own peril.
in those 2 backlines i see 2 better fullbacks than inglus (his young, hunt has a great future though, and hornby is very good to), i also see four better centres than you guys have... in other words if i was to pick a backline form those 3 backlines it would be

Hunt
Tate
Hodges
Gasnier
Cooper
Lockyer
Head

no storm players even to make the side, BUT the storm players are a very good side, they work well together... more than just individual brilliance which is a big reason why they are leading the comp and favourites to win the title. they dont have the same name players brizzy and dragons have but they perform. my only point is if you completly discredit dragon and brizzy players... it might come back to bite you

What dont you like about him?

For the record i would leave out Turner, but it is a tough call as he is a fine player.
Titans picked up one of the best backs on the open market.

I'm all about loyalty, so it should be out of Turner or Webster to miss out.

Also they would probably be the last two of our backs picked regardless.

Anyway, I think Turner has been playing better lately, so that's about it.

Hope Matt "the grapple" King will get dropped. At least it will make the game more enjoyable not only for the oposition but for the audience.

hard decision with the best backline in the comp..I would leave out Geyer...unfair, but you have to make sacrifices. I dont think he has much more special about him, whereas everybody else in their backs do.

I would just have Inglis on the bench and drop (give a rest) to Freind.
Bring Inglis on in the second half for King who could do with only 60 minutes.

Now that you have finished your little rant....

I'm a Broncos fan.

If you had to drop a player, it should be Jake Webster. Having said that, no-one deserves to lose their place.

G.I will need to come off the bench and work up some match fitness leading into the finals.

True but Inglis will play centre next year whilst Quinn will replace Turner so better Inglis gets more experience at centre now. Not knocking Websters ability as he is a very good player but if someone has to go I would pick Inglis over him.
