Shitposting aside...it kind of did? Just not in the way they intended (and tbh there's an essay there about mismanagement meaning these idiots were cheating just to field a team)

Like yeah it was memeworthy and embarrassing and on a personal level I seriously considered whether I could keep supporting the pricks.

But in the wash out it killed off any influence for the deadshit factions (mostly), forced the club to completely rebuild the back office and stop being a toy for egotistical fans with the cash to buy their way onto the board, and actually run like an NRL club...

In a weird way I think cheating made the game bigger in Melbourne I've been to almost every game against St. George since their inception.

When I first walked in the streets of Melbourne wearing my colours I used to get heckled that the Swans suck gradually it became oh I don't really follow the rugby but I've heard of the Storms (that's not a typo)

But they can still get f**ked for what they did.
