you used to have someone in your side with the last name mellor... what was his first name?

He scored one of the most memorable tries in our 64-14 demolition of Newcastle on August 11, 2002.

And in 2001, he ran all over Wendell Sailor in the 4v5 Qualifying Final. He was driving him back to the in-goal all night, and grabbed a hat-trick!

fatshark you must be an insomniac like me :p

And took a dive in the 2002 semis to cost us a place in the GF

Thats a bit harsh?...what about Peachy's tackle?

Unfortunately for Mellor he got injured early in the second half and never recovered....

that was a nightmare that game

treister and noddy seemed to be the only ones playing in that second half

mellor was obviously injured and peachey seemed to be playing for the warriors

Deano...Probably his finest ever game in a losing side for us. 80 minutes. Sensational effort, a true 'Warrior', if you'll excuse the pun!

i thought deano's effort in the game before against Dragons was his best

i was on the eastern side and the standing ovation he was given from the western side, when he was replaced, after 70 or so minutes still gives me goosebumps

Deano was a champion. I can never forgive Opes for cutting the guy.

Peachey was injured - that's why he didn't look too good. But those intercepts - gee, grabbing those was pure class!
