Its an absolute joke and it will be the last time I buy anything of the kind again. I've been rung three times though because they keep losing the size ive ordered. I'm almost resigned to never getting it or it will be wrong when it does come.

when cost are cut how come business people always cut costs in the areas that create thier greatest income? I have never figured that out. Being a small business person if i cut back on customer service and advertising I'd be lucky to last 3mths

Football office hey??!! That's not good enough. When it comes to Fans money management needs to act! Otherwise the fans will stop buying. And the club can't afford that. If there is a problem should be on to it!!

The club stated from day one that these jerseys would be here ready for the Members round which is against the storm.

This is what I got from the club regarding the Members jersey:

The 2012 Eel for Life Members Jersey is a new initiative that we are
proud to have launched this year.
This new project was marketed as an initiative for our 2012 Members
Round which has recently been scheduled to take place in Round 20 when
we take on the Melbourne Storm.

When advertising and selling this item, all members were made aware
that this Jersey was a custom piece which would entail a reasonably
lengthy manufacturing process and would be distributed just prior to
the Members Round. This was estimated to be late May, and is an
estimation which is currently on track.

We understand that some of our members are bound by financial
restrictions. However the above information was clearly indicated by
our Membership team verbally, as all orders were placed over the
telephone or at our head office.

All Jerseys regardless of team, nation, design or colour are
eventually re-designed and changed, all clubs share these
circumstances.

We do not comment on the policies or procedures of other clubs, but
will at this stage re-iterate that this is a first time project for
the Parramatta Eels which we hope to be a big success.

I have been assured that information regarding the 2012 Eel for Life
Members Jersey will be released, to those who have purchased the item,
in the coming weeks.

When was this email sent? It wasn't when the jerseys were first advertised and the date wasnt conveyed to me when I placed the order. They were finding it difficult just getting spelling and sizes right.

It's certainly a strange response if that was the reply. Given other complaints we've heard about member issues such as a failure to send out supporter packs 2 months into the season, which took a phone call from Phil Rothfield to Spagnolo, for the club to actually be aware of that issue, I doubt very much they know what's going on in the membership department. It certainly has it's problems.

For that reason the club shouldn't be coming out and saying EVERY member was made aware these were the conditions unless every conversation was taped proving so. It comes across a bit like saying 'read the fine-print'. You'd expect that from a bank, but a footy club shouldn't be coming across like that.
