In the absence of any original ideas (let's face it, if I come up with any of those, I won't waste them on internet forums :lol: ), I nicked this from Denis in the Illawarra forum.

When does a Merged Scum player become rehabilitated into normal society? Do you still hate Stevo because of his tainted past? Is Craig Smith a better person since he went to England? Will we ever forgive Firman and Longy?

Yes but he got dispensation through a loophole issued by Les Davidson.

When he is involved in any side that beats the Merged Scum....hey, that's too easy!

I think rehabilitation consists of:
*Beating a Merged Scum side
*Joining Cronulla and swearing eternal allegaince to the Shark
*Stops assaulting nice Shire girls outside Northies
*Getting cheap shots, biting, kicking, screaming and so on out of their game
*Playing at Cronulla for a prolonged period - i.e. Stevens, 7 seasons here

But rehabilitation is pretty much impossible. Some things the Merged Scum degenerates have ingrained in them forever, such as giving wedgies.

The immoral values, annoying attitudes and plain stupidty can never be erased.

Possibly, we fans may one day learn to accept these bottom dwellers of society (out of pity), but it doesn't change the fact that they are still scum
