Yeah i know, but I was looking for the take on it from the other half of the JV, and there seems to be nothing anywhere. I looked at the Illawarra District RL club because of the following from the Steelers site:

Steelers is a trading name adopted by the Illawarra District Rugby League Football Club Limited when the Club was formed to play rugby league in the major ARL competition in 1982.

The Steelers played in that competition until 1998, before forming a joint-venture club in 1999 - known as the St George Illawarra Dragons - playing half of their home matches at WIN stadium in Wollongong and half at Oki stadium in Kogarah.
The St George Illawarra Dragons field teams in the NRL and Toyota Cup competitions.

I see they enjoy the continuation of history on their history page.

And I see you're still having trouble accepting different viewpoints on this.

Given the choice between 16 premierships and 1 premiership, I'll take 16 everytime.

If you want to accept something more mediocre, that's your choice to make.

I have no trouble at all accepting the different viewpoints. I understand your claim of 16 premierships completely. I also understand why the official records show 1.... and not a single post in this thread has done anything to counter that.. that's why I was looking for an official protest or debate so that I could see if there were more logical viewpoints than the emotions on display in here... there isn't...

Yeah, I remember how accepting and reasonable you were in the Steve Price thread. Not a hint of emotion or tantrum chucking from you there. LOL! FMD, I could see the smoke coming out of your keyboard from here.

Since then you have tried to control yourself, with varying degrees of success. I commend you for trying, perhaps the anger management classes are working.

What I see is someone who has already made up their mind, and has gone to extraordinary lengths by searching online and selectively picking out snippets to make yourself feel better about the grand final result. Don't fib about it, you're not a happy chappy.

You even tried to make out that the Illawarra Division, on the entirely separate Sporting Pulse websites, as one place to search for this 'official' debate which is so important to you. This is despite the Illawarra Division having players that are sometimes placed in the system for other NRL clubs.

All I'm pointing out here is that you clearly don't know what you're talking about - and like the dope who made a false statement about Gasnier, you are now attempting to fabricate an argument based on a lack of evidence.

It is a poor debating technique when the antagonist demands that others prove a negative through the absence of evidence. And that is exactly what you are attempting to get us to do now, prove a negative.

The fact is, I answered this question pages ago. More than once. You don't want to accept it, nor do you want to accept the view of the St George Club. Plus, you just can't accept that this is between the club and the NRL, and any pressure the fans can apply. It is not going to be resolved in this thread by you searching google. Capiche?

It's 2am, well past BunniesMan's bedtime. But before Bunniesman goes to bed he will do everyone a great service. He will settle this debate once and for all. It takes a high level of intelligence to find an answer to a question as complex as the one raised in this thread. Very few people here are that intelligent, luckily BunniesMan is one of them. The correct answer is neither option in the poll is worth choosing because obviously Dragons have 16, Tigers have 1. The end. Case closed.

Unbelievable that anyone with an IQ above 50 can claim with a straight face that 3 clubs can win 1 grandfinal or that 2 clubs can add their premiership totals together.

Deadset Dragons fans get a clue.
