I have no idea why Simmons is at fullback! He played way better on the wing in attack and defence. Merritt looks like a mini Peachey and has the skills of a full back. Simmons recently hasnt earnt his 1st grade spot and for a youngster he shouldnt be given a 1000 chances when we NEED to win games. Peachey to fullback, Merritt to simmons wing position!

He used to carve up for the Rovers in the Souths Jnr comp, and last year when picked there played well.

Hardest Day under the high ball I have seen and Simmons stood up. Not a day where full backs were going to be great attackers.

In Merritt, Simmons and Rieck we have 3 of the fastest men in the game. None of them is a great defender. But I reckon Simmons is the least gutless in both defense and attack.

Rieck often makes a good dummy half run from the first tackle after a kick-receive.

Merrit's a pussy - alright in open field but doesn't like to touched.

BUT: I believe all of them have improved this year, and so I'd like Stuey to perservere with them for a bit - maybe make them compete with each other for the wing/fb positions.

Our outside men are the most underutilised backs in the league ........how can we write them off when they touch the ball no more than twice a game(unless of course its turnstyle riecky). And those touches are usually when they're relieving pressure off our forwards when camped deep in our 50.

Look at vargs ....he's turned from a try scoring machine, to a cat like tackle bag. Our ball distribution is the joke of the league. Bailey and Co are disgracements

Theres plenty of talent there, they're just not getting any ball

schivofski is the worst fullback in the NRL but unfortunatly Simmons has modelled his fullback game on schivs style and is starting to push for his position as the worst. I can't beleive Merritt hasn't been given at least one game at FB to prove that the form he displayed when playing for the rabbitohs wasn't a one year wonder.

Simmons is a s**t full back, simple. If the pussy started to show some enthusiasm I would rate him but all I have seen is some great FB who can run fast just stroll up the line and get crunched. He needs to be earning his spot, with that crap he aint.

Check out the defensive shite they have at the beginning of the team lineup stuff. Vagana, McGoldrick and Simmons are deadset shockers.

Off the top of my head, Simmo's defensive flaws at fullback have let in 28 tries. :shock:
