I 1s00% agree - Wither is a hack ( been saying it for a couple of years )

I am up in Newcastle and I am regerting the 6 hour drive!!

Withers! He must hold the record for the amount of forward passes delivered from dummy half - dead set, it's not that hard.

Now, before all the Withers fans come on saying he tackles above his weight - I don't give a F#CK! that's not what he is there for.

When is his contact up? I wouldn't pay 20,000 for him. Let him test the market, cause I swear not one other club would be interested.

After that performance I'd be holding off contract negotiations for a few players...absolutely f**king most woeful performance I can remember to start off a season in a long time.

Carney was the reason we scored 2/3 of our tries He is our best player. Anyway on topic Withers is a hack and i would rather see Hinchcliffe in the #9

I think Henry knows this. It is why he has publicly stated on a number of occasions he wants to recruit another dummy half. Unfortunately, at the moment, Withers is our best no 9, even though he is rubbish.

True , But . it was the titans first game , they were awesome , there attack was slick and defence solid , we showed zilch tonight, seriously a U20 team would of beaten us. Withers was busted but he still makes the same mistakes as last year and every year before that. cant complain about his heart , but I will with his dummy half sertvice. Its terrible. nothing will change this year with him. He wasnt alone last night , nobody stood up.

I've seen the best part of 4 games this weekend and also an U20's clash between Parra and Dogs. What these games showed is that we look the most unprepared of them all and had we played the likes of the Dogs, Parra, Souths, Roosters, Manly, Sharks we would have lost the game by half time.

Imo Newcastle should have been the wooden spon favourites before Rnd 1 ... now where does that leave us ??

On paper we dont look all that bad but if Henry cant get at least 20% more out of this team we'll be on a hiding to nothing by Rnd 13.

The killer blow resulted from Withers dropping the pill from dummy-half after we'd just scored our 2nd try in quick sucession ... I can take the "occassional" forward pass but that dropped ball was classic Withers ... at a time when we needed five solid hit-ups and a kick downfield to place the tiring opposition on the back foot he puts our go-forward in quick reverse ...

... unfortunate in isolation but completely unacceptable for a repeat offender with the experience of 150 games under his belt

we were in with a real chance to steal the game, coming home strong... that took the wind right out of our sails

on his forward passes though, its no co-incidence its mainly Turner who's recieving them. He is mistiming his run. He is equally responsible for the forward passes as Linc is.

i agree. All im saying is spare a thought and some critism for Glenn Turner who is making life difficult for linc by mistiming his run. Both need to lift their games

I can't disagree with any of that.

Linc was hurt badly in that game and if it's a rib cartilage I'd be surprised if he backs up next week. IMO our early momentum died when he got injured and that last error was a disaster waiting to happen under the circumstances. That pass to Weyman was sh*thouse too.

Speaking of Mick, he really needs to get dropped for Thurling next week. Plum in for Costigan and maybe Picker in for Miller too (although that gives us a pretty light-on bench). Hopfully Zilly is OK, but Goodwin on standby for him. Best to centre and Graham to wing.

The Campo/Carney combo wasn't great but it's too early to stuff around with the halves again.

I know Rugby League is a team game but i have to say i am going to blame this one on Withers as well because Rugby League is also a game of momentum and we had it prior to Withers dropped that ball.

Send him to Souths Logan and give Hinchcliffe or Herbert a go!

Personally i don't want to see Tongue at hooker. Move him to second row and move Campo to lock.... and bring dobbo back!
