Thanks mate, I'm looking forward to seeing what the Catalans and Wigan experience has given him.

i think that since it says most places that dobson is an addition to the raiders squad that most people assume, or dont realise that he was here before he was over there.. or something.. easy mistake to make.

i certainly hope he gets a go this year and impresses the coaching staff enough to stay in the team.. and then obviously impresses us alot by the raiders winning plenty of games!!

He was labelled TNBT about 18 months before he was truly ready. He only blossomed later in the year (ask Todd and he will name the GP win over the Cows as his turning point).

In the meantime we had several months of whinging until TC was a regular starter. Lets not get all hyped up over Dobbo until we've seen him in the NRL.
THe kid doesnt need that sort of pressure yet.

He's shaping as the real X factor in our side isn't he. If he gets the 7 and is able to give Carney a bit of room out wide then I think we're on a winner. This is the sort of thing we missed with Jason Smith - not enough long ball to the outside backs. With Carney and Dobbo out there we should hopefully get a lot more variety in our attacking options and last tackle kicking game - particularly involving the likes of Graham and Frawley a lot more in attack.

We were a totally different side last year when Carney played with some confidence and if we get a reasonable start with Dobbo in First Grade that can only be a good thing. I'm pretty sure we'll cop some hammerings on the way, but if our forwards can do their job (which I'm pretty confident they will) then this young group of backs we've got could really be exciting.

Having said that, I'm still a little worried with our defensive capabilities out wide (particularly with Schif gone) so Henry is going to have his hands full working on that - but that's a whole new topic.

I'm very worried that Dunemann will start in the #7.

Experience is something you can only get by playing, and chucking Dobbo into PL after he carved it up in the ESL last season will only send him backwards.
