never ever happened before in any surfing event and what most unusual it never bit him, that's also unheard of

looking at the dorsal fin it may have been a hammer head and their mouth and teeth face down and they generally feed from above their victim which is probabaly why it never bit Mick

very lucky boy, even Julian Wilson was pretty shaken

Mad Panther supporter Mick Fanning nearly becoming dinner for a Shark..well,just as well it wasn't a bigger one.

The Shark got 10 minutes in the bin,and the incident will be sent straight to the judiciary.
