The Easts Roosters have had a strong season, They have been beaten only once and have showed the competition yet again that they will be the team to defeat in 2004. With alot of young rookies stepping up to the plate, Along with the Veterans playing professional the Roosters are going to be hard to stop yet again in this season. Who can stop them? Only time will tell.

Red Dragon - 8.6, 8.0, 8.0
= 8.2
Robster - 8.2, 7.8

Would have to be the Big Improvers this year. They may sit in 2nd position instead of 1st but this year they are deadly. With a great recruitment drive in the offseason, Seano has prepared brightly for 2004 and the team is sticking to the game plan, They are playing one week at a time and are coming out trumps. If they keep it up they will have to be morals to make it in the Semis.

The East Coast Rhinos had an outstanding start to the season, Toppling over the Panthers, Followed by Premiership Favourites in Easts Roosters, From then they had a Draw, Win, Loss but still sit in a comfortably 3rd position and with a great chance at making the Semi-Finals. It's very close at the top of the table and after having there fame in outright 1st for 1 week they now have to settle in the top 3 and get the job done for there remainding 3 matches.

The Cronulla Sharks were always going to find form, And they have after Round 3. Yes they left it a touch late but are still definately in this competition by a long shot. They keep up the way they are going and they will silently creep into the semis. They have a solid side and with the leadership of there 3 captains will be there come the business end of town

Gorilla - 8.1

The Newtown Jets must have one of the strongest teams on paper. So many quality players, They are consistently scoring well and have been unlucky in certain games, They still are one of the strongest sides in this competition allthough sitting in 4th position, They cant lack off now or they may see themselves finish outside the 4. If willow can pump the boys up, And lead them to atleast 2 more wins that should secure the Jets in the Semis.

Panthers

Captain - Big Mick

Biggest Crowd - 15,090

The Penrith Panthers had a tough start to season 2004, With narrow loses to the East Coast Rhinos and South Sydney Rabbitohs. They bounced back in Round 3 by defeating one of the Powerhouse clubs in Newtown Jets. Big Mick often blamed himself for his team's loses in the earlier stages of the year but deep down he has controlled this team back up to the middle of the field at mid-season. The Panthers still have a good chance at making the Semi Finals but to do so will have to work very hard in there remaining 3 matches.

Eels

Captain -- Vaealikis Girl
Home Ground - Parramatta Stadium

Biggest Crowd -15,600
Lowest Crowd -15,230
Average Crowd - 15415
Biggest Win - Round 5, Rhinos, 2.9

Eels2win - 8.1, 8.0, 8.5

Mr Parra Eels 7.7, 8.6
= 8.15
Parra Fan - 7.8
= 7.8
Kingling - 7.7
= 7.7
Redback71 - 7.0
= 7.0

The Parramatta Eels recorded there first win against the team that were in 1st Position, The Eels have been very unlucky this season and finally the luck has gone there way. Can the eels continue this form? Only time will tell. They have the go-forward, Just need to continue the sort of form they showed against the in-form Rhinos to have a glimpse of hope in finishing in the top half of the Competition.

Lord Reynoldson - 8.1
= 8.1
Narcissist - 8.1
= 8.1
Nibbs - 7.9, 8.5, 8.4, 7.2
= 8.0

The Pirates have had a rugged year. Only winning one match out of 5. Nothing has been going there way, For them to finish in the top half of the competition this year it'll contain them having to field 5 on the paddock and start having some pride in there jersey. Everyone thought that the Pirates were going to be the team to beat this year, But they haven't been able to show that form, Let's see if there last 2 games can be turned into points and they finish in a respectable position at seasons end.

The Sydney Lions would have to be the luckiest side in the Competition, They have had 2 games where the opposition hasnt fielded a full side which has guaranteed them 2 wins. Honestly I don't think they have the killer instinct to make the finals but if Roosterboy plays his cards right the Lions may just sneak into the top 4 by round 9.

POSTER OF THE YEAR -

1st - Everlovin Antichrist
2nd - Thierry Henry
3rd - Genius Freak

Cheers

Enjoy ;-)

I thought you were a little harsh rating the Lions last, but thats your opinion. I'm looking forward to the 2nd part of the season, as it just shows any team can make the finals.

Louis Lambert ain't no rookie. He's a seasoned professional (at least that's the impression I've got of him since joining the Parra 7's team at the tail end of last season).

Also, big ups to both Robster and Parramatt for getting involved in the competition analysis. Are you two on the same page, or quietly trying to undo each other? Either way, you've both done the game a favour with your most recent posts. Well dones....

Well, apologies there on my part. I really should start hanging around the Sharks Forum more often. I'll consider that after the playoffs. That means Cronulla have strong representation for Rookie of the Year! Hell yeah!

My money's definitely on Goleel for rookie of the year... he has the second highest average of any player in the whole comp and I'll be very surprised if he isn't rewarded with a rep jumper soon.

Far out, Well thanks everyone for your input. "We wont come last", "say what you think, we will not lose another match" Far out... Next time I wont bother, I thought I would do something for the competition for everyone to read and all I get is critisism besides El Coco. Thanks

I think we will lose another match, but I don't think we will come last, what you and Robster are doing is great. For rookie poster of the year: Everlovin Antichrist

ParraMatt take a chill pill. Did you really expect everyone to agree with what you had written? Think about mid-season reviews in the press. Does everyone agree with them all the time? Hell no.

Chill out and have fun mate, and don't take yourself and life so seriously. I mean this is a forum. If I wanted everyone to agree with what I posted, I wouldn't post anything.

Nah but mate, When you do something for the competition, Something for the players to enjoy while things are pretty boring with only one rep game in progress and no competition rounds, I'd expect people just to be happy with what I did, I know people are going to all agree, But it's just my opinion. It's not like its official. I most probably will be very wrong with my predictions. But make your own predictions up if you dont follow mine, Instead of whinging and saying mine are wrong.
