Quite disapponted that this was not promoted anywhere. I was in Chicago that whole weekend and would have loved to go to that game.

Mike had promised to contact me when a game was on, there is interest in having a story done on them (outside of WAR).

Anywya hope the rest of the games will be promoted.

Great to see movement in Chicago. Maybe a localised nines comp is more viable than placing a team in the AMNRL straight up

Josh - eventually we plan both a local comp along the lines of Sevens or Nines and an AMNRL team - the Stockyarders. The Sunday night football at Winnemac Park will hopefully become a local merit league that can feed players into the Stockyarders team.

Dan - Apologies I didn't email you as I thought you were in Australia.

In terms of promotion you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. We announced this event at the beginning of the season and it didn't come off as early as expected - as a result we were bagged on this very forum. As I said when you tweeted your thoughts post match - at this stage we would prefer to under-promise and over-deliver until we can guarantee that events will come off.
