It's strange they wouldn't have blocked WP Night 3 if he was town unless a) they forgot about him/thought it unlikely he would be successful or b) the mafia roleblocker was roleblocked by town roleblocker.

Because the night that just passed was night 4
Because the mafia has an even night kill which was blocked on day 2
They then successfully killed someone with their even night kill on night 4
