He was a more talented drummer than Bonzo, I've always said Bonzo was very unique but his stuff was not that difficult to play

Mitch on the other hand was more jazz oriented type drummer who had more speed than most, he complimented Jimi's original sound very well imo.

We'll have to agree to disagree on him, imo like most old musicians who may have been good at a particular time, the speed at which skill levels increased left alot of older musicians in its wake, they became outdated, much like my reasoning for why i think Hendrix was over-rated, good at a point but now today is not worth learing thanks to better guitarists around.

sh*t Ron your tragic. I'm only a casual poster here but 95% of the posts i see of yours are ripping on someone elses music opinion.

IMO Bonham was great for his tone, but not great technically. Bonham, Baker and Mitchell are legends. They had a great deal to do with some of the biggest acts in history.

exactly,

together with Keith Moon they influenced what happened back in the eighties where anyone who could play 3 chords and play the drums with one arm got credit for it

Twizzle, are you saying that bands in th 80's eg Van Halen only used 3 chords? you must be being sarcastic.

Yep as for a one arm drummer? yep how good was he, he was better then most with two arms, don't know why your're ripping on him on as Ric Allen was an inspiration to many.

I'm not ripping, just expressing mine, just like they express their opinion in regards to my music;-)

Well you can be as sure as sh*t, Ronny baby, that when one of your Hair Bear Bunch reets cark it, then i'll stamp all over their sh*thouse memory too, just like you did with Mitch.

Surely one of these gits is up next ?

IF NOT, WHY NOT ?!!
