Tommy Loo Loo Why.

Ahhh, of course! Forgot about him.

Anywho, I disagree with the premise that Havili won't challenge for a start this year. The club showed its hand in chasing McInnes (recent junior kangaroo) and signing Havili (recent junior kiwi AND current NZ rep). From what I've seen of him, he's got spark and will be an awesome bench hooker from round 1. After that, there's every chance he may progress to starter. I'm pumped by his signing.

Of course it could be argued he is fourth string. I'm not sure what position they expected Ben Henry to play but I presume the first choice would be a Ben Henry and Thomas Looloowhy rotation.

Henry is an edge player (second row, centre)...they wouldnt have him playing hooker.

Then again, who knows what the Warriors will pull out...

Cannot understand why people are against Rein, he has been one of our est this year, all this crap will only harm him, why would he want to stay with the Saints, but then again all this trade talk etc etc is sad to see from a once great club, in the old days players were respected by management, maybe the way players are now treated is the future of all sports, tradition is now a thing of the past

BigH I agree with you,I started this thread to stick up for Mitch Rein and give him a wrap on his form this season. Then all these clowns took over and started to bag him..

Mitch if you read this the majority of fans think you are an excellent hooker mate.

Mitch if you read this, stop wasting time on the internet and go watch some Cam Smith videos, or do some passing practice. Mate.

Mitch is tough big heart will tackle anything that moves...can sniff out a try,is quick over short distance, can step close to the line, from what I have seen does have some sort of kicking game when needed, problem is his service from dummy half. So can he and will he improve on his passing game ?...If so Mitch is nearly there , For me he is better long term than Farah...... but then again what I think dosnt matter.....

Things you can't teach a player: heart, courage, competitiveness

Things you can teach a player: how to pass

Let's hope they work on it over the off season.

Well we had a chance to get Cameron king back, his passing was pretty good from dummy half. He is only going to play second fiddle to peats at parra anyway.

Get some old hooker in their to help rein during the offseason. What's fein doing these days?

Agree and would love to see Rein kick on, but he's been passing like 2010 Luke Priddis for 3 or 4 years now.

I am still trying to figure out what L'Estrange did wrong. He was not that bad? Did he get injured or dropped due to bad form?

He apparently had a contract with a clause that if he played one more game he would get a contract extention for 2016 and Mary played him up until his last game before triggering the extension. I thought our winning streak was influenced by Lestrange and Rein sharing the hooking role.
