Apparently wasnt happy with brooks signing 2 year $1million dollar deal...
He was offered 4 years $3million.
According to media sources.
Would make a good halves pairing with Norman if true.

Don't care about Moses that's Parramatta's concern. Now the Tigers will be looking for a five-eighth and we have not secured a 6 for 2018. Millward is proving to be a slow thinker.

He has finally made a decision , for good or bad , he will need to live with it . For mine , I would not be granting him that release , damned if I would .

He signed with the Tigers for 2017 , he plays out his contract at the Tigers ! Furthermore if I was running the club , I would immediately dump him to their feeder club , whomever that is.

As far as Parramatta is concerned , they should not had ' suggested ' that he ask his club for a immediate release , and you can bet pounds to peanuts , that they did .

How did these blokes at the Tigers become the "Big 4" in the first place? Smith, Slater and Cronk are modern greats of the game and have earned their accolades and whatever titles you want to bestow on them. But how do two average halves, a soft front rower and an admittedly pretty good fullback (with ONE origin game under his belt) end up holding a whole club to ransom? They might all be in for a rude shock, be it at a new club or under Cleary, when they discover they can't have everything their own way.

If this is true, he must be seriously unhappy at the Tigers to turn down a million dollars a season.

However, if he has turned down this offer because he feels like he's worth more, then who the f**k does he think he is.

Apparently has accepted far less to go to the Eels feels that he will develop more at the Eels than WT
so not about money but development...

Walpole, I nearly fell off my chair when NRL360 crew said that soft front rower was after $900k a season!!!

I think his headband might be on a bit too tight if he is asking for that much coin.

Gus says it all in this article:

http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/gu...s/news-story/3bbbaef74c413ce7bf93fffb80c90287

End of the day, those 4 guys together have won sweet FA. How can they command that sort of coin??

Cronk can name his price, JT can name his price, Cam Smith can name his price, they are proven winners at all levels.

Those 4 can't. Only Tedesco is worth big money but you'd be paying based on potential alone.

Some league sites are saying Malony from the sharks is being offered around to clubs,
There is going to end up being silly season from now on.

So right 2010 . Here we are , early into the new season and the cats have been set loose amongst the pigeons .

Moses going to the Eels , Malony to who knows where , the Burgess twins also and of course the real big ' woozy of a doozy ' is Woods , Tedesco , Foran and Cronk all to the Bulldogs . I can only imagine that they must have a extremely large piggy- bank .

And our prize , we will have Mary for a couple of more years , you can't get much better than that !

I'm sick of hearing about these Big 3 out of 4 Wankers! Just glad they aren't at our club as they seem to think they run the Tigers club with their over inflated ego's. They need a serious reality check......they're coming last!
Tedesco is the only decent player worth $$$

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

Tigpies has a poor squad, hence all 4 guys feel like they are big wheels.

Legends in their own minds. Only Tedesco is worth serious dollars. Moses is a decent FG.

Would upgrade contract of our entire pack before considering paying Woods $900k a season.

Agree.
Just maybe Cleary has already sat down with Moses & had a heart to heart with him of which he doesn't like some of the home truths & has spat that dummy.

Wests Tigers statement on Mitchell Moses
WestTigers.com.au
-
April 5, 2017 - 9:36 pm

Wests Tigers would like to clarify media reports this afternoon around the contract status of Mitchell Moses.

Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap for 2018 and beyond the Club has decided to prioritise the re-signings of captain Aaron Woods and James Tedesco.

As a result, the current contract offer that was with Moses’ management was taken off the table by Wests Tigers.

After being made aware of this decision Moses’ management requested an immediate release from the remainder of Moses’ current contract; this request was denied by Wests Tigers.

This decision was purely made due to the current uncertainty surrounding the salary cap, with the Club not willing to put itself in a risky position for 2018 and beyond.

The Club informed Moses’ management that it would be willing to revisit negotiations once the 2018 salary cap figure was confirmed.
