Don't care about Moses that's Parramatta's concern. Now the Tigers will be looking for a five-eighth and we have not secured a 6 for 2018. Millward is proving to be a slow thinker.

While I don't disagree with your thoughts regarding Millward, I still believe it doesn't matter because Widdop must be so keen to move on from McGregor.

It wouldn't surprise if GW is linked to the Tigers sooner rather than later.

Jason Taylor on Fox tonight said given the profile of the 4 players in question, and their associated price tags, the expectation from the club was those 4 would lead them to success. That did not happen. So how can they be worth what they're asking. Success is measured by winning is it not?

I'm not a massive fan of Taylor but good on him for saying that. Too much blame goes to head coaches when clubs struggle, but ultimately its up to the players to deliver. And in the West Tigers case, those 4 have delivered nothing.

Even with the Dragons, the same clueless coach is at the helm yet we're running 2nd. Mainly because of an injection of good recruits and our gun players like Widdop and Duges delivering like we expect them too.

With the amount of cash these players are asking for, we really shouldn't expect any less.
I think that there are underlying problems at Balmain. Woods and co, to me are holding the club to Ransome. These and any other players anywhere do not control the club.
If they want to walk out after the season has started give them the option honouring their contract or sit out for rest of the season.

The funny thing is... everyone sees it that way but a few clubs.
Has been reported Tedesco is being chased by a few clubs, and fair enough he is a good player.
But Brooks getting a million? Moses getting a million?
And now the dogs are reportedly offering woods $900k per year?
Are we all missing something?
I thought I read that Brooks signed for 750K a season.

The Bighead 4 & their greedy manager (Isaac Moses) need a walk in the real world. I suggest they watch some old footage of Graeme Langlands an Immortal of the game, then go and visit him in the Nursing Home. Changa had more talent and heart in his big toe than these 4 primadonna's combined pea hearts and yet has nothing but his wonderful legacy to the game and fans.
These bigheads need to wake up to themselves and understand how very lucky they are & their salary should be based on effort, not potential. Over Them!!

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

Tigpies has a poor squad, hence all 4 guys feel like they are big wheels.

Legends in their own minds. Only Tedesco is worth serious dollars. Moses is a decent FG.

Would upgrade contract of our entire pack before considering paying Woods $900k a season.
A player is only worth what a Club is willing to pay him. Apparently there are Club's willing to pay big bucks for these players. If Widdop is not staying and the rumour about Maloney is true, then Maloney could very well be a good fit at the Dragons. He is a class player and a good goal kicker. The likes of Field, Dufty and our other juniors can be brought through the system and select on form displayed in reserve grade.

WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS. IT DOESNT CONCERN US ABOUT OTHER CLUBS.
I think our roster still needs improvement for 2018. With many players off contract at the end of 2017, we should be constantly looking at options to improve our roster.

There will be some contracts signed for 2018 and beyond. We should be amoungst these negotiations because even if not successful in some, we have at least held our opposition to a market price.

I still can't fathom how the Dogs can buy Cronk and Woods with the roster they already have. And how the Roosters can top all bids for Tedesco, with the roster they have. There has to be something crook in the brook.

Todd Greenberg and Isaac Moses both worked at the Olympic Stadium. Todd
inconspicuous, smiled and said nothing. Previously he worked at Cricket NSW where I was told he turned up at meetings and contributed nothing. Isaac was a supervisor who had no people skills and was a little dictator with small man syndrome. He delighted in catching people out talking or not focussing 100% on their jobs. I am surprised that he graduated from iinfants school as he has zero intelligence. I think that he is related to
Benny Elias who probably set him up with connections. Anyone who employed Todd or Isaac would have a very low IQ.

I would think Maloney is a chance of signing with the tigers if he is in fact being shopped around. At this stage of his career he would imo be open to a very good offer & the tigers certainly could do with a player of his ilk right now.

Can't believe that everyone is falling for this "money is not the deciding factor" line with Moses.
We are talking about $300,000 per year difference.
He had a $1 mil contract offered and didn't sign up immediately! What more could you ask from your club?

I think that this approach from Parramatta came a long time ago and they have been waiting for the situation to come to a head at the Tigers and Moses could then have a reason to ask for an immediate release.
I believe Moses has been assured that the difference will be made up with TPAs one way or another.
Its why they have persisted with their current 6 who has done a good job under the circumstances.

Cashed up clubs seem to be able to get players on board extremely quickly and often for less,,,,
The Dragons on the other hand have to jump through hoops over many weeks or months before a deal is secured.

That's a big call..

Who, presently in NRL media is commanding such a salary?

And you do realise the majority of media work is contract based..?

I would be very surprised if Cronk doesn't play for another season or two given the money he will be offered. From interviews, it seems he still enjoys playing, is still highly competitive, and injuries are unlikely to force him into retirement.

I don't buy all this he will destroy his legacy stuff. Who in the real world would be thinking about that when you can make at least twice as much as the media alternative (I would say it is more likely to be 3-4 times that) playing a game you still enjoy playing.
