Pearce has been one of the top 3 halfbacks in club footy all year by a long way.

I don't give a f**k about Origin and every Roosters fan will be ecstatic if he never gets picked again.

The way he organises and directs our team and has closed out games in 2017 is remarkable and we're more than happy to have him lead us to another 2 or 3 GFs over the coming years whilst everyone else wanks off over Ben Hunt who is half the player or Cameron Munster who isn't even a halfback FFS.

In time he will surpass Pearce because he's a huge talent. It's scary to think how good he'll be in his mid 20s. He could be the next all time great halfback in the Sterlo-Langer-Stuart-Johns-Thurston-Cronk lineage.

But for now as a complete half he's not even close because he's still a teenager.

I agree Cleary has some development to go but how our team is going is irrelevant. We haven't had a stable roster since he debuted. Once we started to get one we went 8 from 10.
