Eagles are listening to offers on Jackson according to ESPN. I would say that if he is traded, that changes the eagles draft significantly

That's why I have you taking Criner in the 2nd. If he gets traded maybe you go for Malcolm Floyd in the first and trade up and get Kuechley or wait for Burfict.

i think the later is most likely
we have a ton of picks, we can make moves to get back up for Kuechly, or even take him first and trade up a bit to take Ashlon Jeffery in the 2nd if he runs a good 40

f**k me if the 49ers pass on both Randle and Polk ill be pissed off

Shit that's my bad. I thought I had Randle going to you and Gilmore to New England.

I gotta switch him.

But you should be stoked to get Cam Johnson. Dude is a stud DL and can play all along all DL positions. You don't need Polk with Gore and Hunter. You can get someone else in the 3rd/4th round just as good imo.

He has caught the ball in college and has shown the ability to do so. He'll show that on his pro-day.

The WCO is all about short passes and he is definitely able to get that.

But you need a great running game to set up the passing game. If you can't run, you wont be able to pass. With Richardson they get an every down back who is able to block on passing downs meaning that opposition coaches wont be able to read Run/Pass as easily as against others.

Richardson is a special player. He is a top tier player and when they are there...whether it is a RB or not...you take them.

And Cleveland isn't necessarily built to pass 40-50 times a game.

Are Baltimore pass happy? no...they have a great RB, Are the 49ers pass happy? No...Are the Giants always pass-happy?...not all the time...Are the Steelers??

Most of the good teams that consistently win have a great running game, a solid defense and good passing game.

If they get Richardson then that is their RB sorted...then they get Tannehill @ 22 who I'm not massively high on...but he seems ok. Then in the 2nd round they get Andre Branch who is a steal...and now you have a D-Line of Branch - Rubin - Taylor - Sheard. That is a damn good young D-Line to build on with the likes of Joe Haden in the secondary. In the 3rd round I have them taking either Brian Quick or Stephen Hill and an OT in the 4th like a Nate Potter.

The Browns are in a great position for this draft to fall really well for them. If it goes like that...and they get Richardson RB, Tannehill QB, Branch DE, Quick WR & Potter OT and add a Vet QB like a Jason Campbell in UFA to compete with McCoy and Tannehill and let Tannehill develop under a vet for 1-2 years and the Browns are on the right track with two good young WR's in Little and Quick, a solid TE, a decent Vet QB option and a franchise RB.

Not saying they shouldn't draft a RB. Just askin do you draft one so high?

if the rams move down to #6 i'm betting it will be blackmon as well. the other 3 players have higher rating.

although i'm hoping it will be claiborne. a shutdown corner will be very helpful to the d, especially the pass rushers.

whatever happens, they'll be getting a good player who can help straight away.

Rams have a heap of cap space and Fisher has already said in the media that they would consider him & bring in Hayensworth.

Happy with that for the 49ers.

Just a general comment though, I think Fleener is being way overrated on many mocks, Mayock said he has no first round grades on any TEs, I think people are bumping him up due to the success of Gronk and Graham, however he doesn't warrant going that high IMO.

i rate him highly watched a lot of stanford games because of luck & i came away very impressed by fleener, i cant agree he's being overated because of JG & RG success, also think this is pretty much the right spot for him he will be gone by mid rd 2 at the latest imo

Can't argue with that mock.

I contemplated the guys you have at those positions as well.

Good mock.

Jarios Jenkins? Too many red flags, the Bengals have moved on from picking up guys with attitude problems, he is talented, but more of a second round pick if he is still there. Also there will be no RB picked in the first round by the Bengals, it will be an OL player where we need to provide some steel if a RB is to be successful.

My first crack

1 - IND: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Bet your life on it. RG3 could fly and Luck would still be the pick

2 - WAS: Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor
Washington cant wait to finally have a franchise QB

3 - MIN: Matt Kalil, OT, USC
Charlie Johnson sucks and they will need to throw more than they wanted with AP coming off a major knee op

4 - CLE: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Hillis is out and the top QB's are gone. Next years QB class looks good, take the franchise RB now and wait it out one more year

5 - TB: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
Both current CBs have troubles, be it age or the law. Claiborne is a stud

6 - STL: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
Rams sent their #2 for a kings ransom and still get their man. Awesome. They need weapons for Bradford

7 - JAX: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
The Jags need a pass rush Coples is the best. They'll think about Floyd here and might end up trading back for him, but if they stay put, it will be a pass rusher

8 - MIA: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
FINALLY! A QB that cant duck them. Miami happily reach for a QB. Someone was gonna do it, and for the Dolphins, like Billy Joel says "i might as well be the one"

9 - CAR: Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
Fills a huge need, i like Poe better but Cox is safer. It will be him or another DT.

10 - BUF: Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina
They've got Mario Williams, so now they need to sure up the RDE spot across from him. This move gives them a great front 4.

11 - KC: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
The right side of this line is rubbish, this is a reach but i think Martin will win over the KC brass. Immediate starter for KC

12 - SEA: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
The LB's need some help and thats even if Hawthorne comes back, which im not sure he does, they could use an upgrade on the outside.

13 - ARI: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
Levi Brown grades out as the worst left tackle in the NFL. Dreadful. He needs to be replaced.

14 - DAL: David DeCastro, OG, Stanford
The Cowboys released long time starter at the G spot and need to replace him

15 - PHI: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
Reid loves taking Lineman early. This guy blew up the combine and will help the wide 9 and Ryans stuff the run.

16 - NYJ: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Holmes is on thin ice, Plax is out. WR is a huge need for Sanchez and eventually Tebow.

17 - CIN: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
The bengals hope Richardson goes past the top 6, if he does he could slide to them. If not they will take the top corner on the board. Which is Dre.

18 - SD: Courtney Upshaw, ILB, Alabama
They will draft this guy and hope to get some production similar to Shawn Merrimen in his hay day. Which they might get, he's got Ware type upside

19 - CHI: Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois
They dabled in the Mario Williams sweeps, but end up getting their guy opposite Peppers here.

20 - TEN: Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
Brockers has slide lately but he's still got great upside. Titans need to improve their defense.

21 - CIN: Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
The bengals need interior help and Glenn can provide it and maybe even develop inot a quality OT. Too early for a RB not named Richardson

22 - CLE: Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
The browns need oline help and he's the best one there. Will help take the pressure off McCoy and Richardson

23 - DET: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
The character concerns will bother them but not enough to pass on an elite talent who fell only due to character.

24 - PIT: Dont'a Hightower, LB, Alabama
They need some youth in behind their revered LB crew. He'll probably end up a pro bowler

25 - DEN: Devon Still, DT, Penn State
Bunkley is out and the Denver need another run stuffer to replace him. Absolute steel at this level

26 - HOU: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
The Texans are forever trying to give teams someone outside of Johnson to worry about, take some double and triple teams off him. Now they do

27 - NE: Mark Barron, SS, Alabama
The safety position is a mess for them, as is the secondary. Clear cut #1 S in the class. Instant upgrade

28 - GB: Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
Woodson is good, but sooner or later they need to replace him.

29 - BAL: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
They just signed Birk but he's old and past it. Short term solution. Konz can play G until Birk retires and he takes over then

30 - SF: Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
Haarbough would love to se some 2 TE sets and help open things up and make

31 - NE: Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State
I think this guy is a stud. And the Pats need defensive line help improve the run D.

32 - NYG: David Wilson, RB, Virginia Tech
They just punted Brandon Jacobs and need a new back with more in the tank. Wilson is it.
