Medial Ligament hey, that doesn't sound too good. Does anyone know the extent of the injury as in number of weeks? Im just thinking about Manly in Round 9.
Our forwards have nothing on Manlys pack. We need fui bad.
My bet is Tahu will miss 6-8 weeks.

If Ian is still out next week then keep Zeb in the side and I'd bring Weller into the team he has been going great in reggies for a couple of years now and he's well overdue for a shot at 1st grade.

Tahu has a strain not a tear...it wouldn't be 6-8 weeks.

normally a strain would not be 6-8 weeks but we are talking about Tahu

He needs 4 weeks to recover from a broken toe nail

well we lose nothing with tahu out as long as Inu is his replacement.
Fui is big loss.
I thought Zeb went ok today, adds some decent size to our pack.

Hope the boys recover in time for the Roosters game

not worried about tahu. fui is a concern though. he seemed to go down twice and clutch his knee, but got up and kept going both times.

Yeah I know.

Grothe and Tahu are a special bread.

Their 1-2 week injuries noramlly take 6-8 weeks if you know what i mean.

Yes... because we are doctors and know this.......

Yep. It's pure speculation.

What I do know however, is that Grothe has only played 70 odd games since 2000.

If you do your sums, thats 10 games per year, so he normally misses about 14 games a season with injuries. Tahu's percentage wouldn't be crash hot either.

Maybe, but I bet they still recover faster than some pessimists recover from depression.
