Tony Smith is a dickhead much like his brother. I almost vomited when he was giving his spiel about Maurie being a "special case" before the game.

How about they just send Maurie to play for Ireland or Scotland in the world cup...to artificially even up the nations of GB.

theres nothing special about fa'asavalu's case...he's lived here 3 years,he's played all his league here and he's never played rugby league for any other nations...fa'asavalu qualifies for GB the same way kharmichael hunt qualifies for australia or brent webb & nathen fien for NZ.....

and fa'asavalu can't play for ireland, scotland or wales because he has lived in england for 3+ years...he only qualifies for england & GB..

i don't like it,but he's broken no rules to play for us..

The best thing is to change the stupid residents rule, extend it to 5 or maybe 10 years.

If we dont change these rules, we're gonna keep seeing players opt for the country theyre living in, rather than the country they originated from and played most of their footy there. 3 years is too short.

Next thing Grant Rovelli will put his hand up for NZL, which under the current rules for next year he qualifies.

It makes a mockery of the International game.

Please never ever suggest that. Even in jest.
I know we're scraping the barrell at the moment for halve's, but fmd, Gary Freeman looks in good shape for his age, i'd get him on the park before Cleary's favourite!

Leeky boy, come crawling back ay.

Send my condolences to the family of Sam Burgess, because after what happened last week, Moimoi will be sending him home in a body bag!

morley, peacock & newton have burgess' back

So do the judicary it seems.....

However, enough whingeing. Let them sort it out on the field. The standard has been set, and apparently it's a free for all. Could be what the Kiwi's need to fire up.

we all know how injury prone you guys are......you'll be dropping like flies on saturday
lol... really... remind me how many rep games your best player sculthorpe has missed in the 5 years before he finally gave up on GB?? remind me where he was this year for saints??

how about cunnigham?? that guy used to be injured everytime there was a series....

while i dont hold any grudges against these guys for being injured i find it laughable that you call kiwis injury prone.

as for the highshots i really cant wait... do you know how long the kiwis have been waiting for someone to give the green light to let them be aggressive as they like??

i can tell you right now... its going to suck to be burgess this weekend...
