Had the QRL outlawed shoulders charges back in 2015 ? They were part of the game for many years.

I’ve been a little underwhelmed by Francis so far hopefully he gets a boost from playing rep footy. We don’t really have a forward leader
Very tough and strong but boy does he have a low motor. Obviously can only play limited minutes and that is what has held up his career. What our conditioning staff are doing about it I dont know. When he is on the field he is good apart from being the last player back on side after kick returns ( that used to be Jack's role ! )

He has been one of our better 4 forwards this year along with lawrie, Sua & JDB

Hate to say it but at this point Francis looks like a player who has found a nice club to land and fade away into the oblivion.

Hardly plays any minutes and his only real involvement tonight led to the opposition's try.

27 minutes 5 runs 54 metres
500k a season
I agree. Im pretty sure he has given that same penalty away for not being behind the play the ball for the offload twice this season.

Someone needs to light a fire under him to get him back to his best.

Yes I think you are right. Gave the penalty away and 30 seconds later makes the most pitiful of efforts on the try line to stop Aloai.

That's a very unfit player. Needs some attention if we are trying to set standards at the Dragons.

Is there an attitude problem with F Molo or is he just unfit? He certainly isn't the same guy we had when he started with us this year. I think that all of our players need a recharge and get into a lot more running especially up sand dunes etc. Hop, skip and jump exercises at training and running into blocking pads and lying on their backs swinging their legs isn't building up their stamina. The stamina part is essential for our conditioners to work on our guys. What are they doing?

I think he's just inconsistent. Like others in the team. Looking at the Roosters game, he was one of our better forwards. Against the Broncos he put in more of a performance like last night. Start of the year he put in much better performances and does well during our defensive efforts down the opposition end. He's up and down which is in line with the rest of the team.

And the penalty last night was unfortunate. He's slow to come back on side, like many forwards and was getting into position for the next hit up. The ball pops out the back and basically comes straight to him - not much he could do. It's game awareness but he's also a forward.

I mean, look at Lawrie. People on this forum, including myself, couldn't wait to punt him back to reggies for his poor performances and for being a penalty magnet. But now he's close to, if not the best forward we have and performing more consistently. Molo is just going through a bad period - it's not like he's just turning up to get a pay packet.

I have always said Lawrie is a keeper and to give time as I saw effort and drive in him (More than many) to develop into a good front rower especially he is not that big or tall in real life compared to many
He has not been perfect or good every week but this year is his best year thus far and he is still youngish and developing.
