The Nine boys were saying that Moltzen will be returning from injury soon and create a selection headache for Potter. Do you agree with this sentiment?

Yep...it's easy to forgot..or more likely ignore that Moltzen has had at least 3 serious injuries ..and two have been at the beginning of the season and been season ending ...the last time we got through to the Prelim final Moltzen did a pretty good job of it at fullback right through the semis...if you remember further back he was a pretty handy attacking weapon when playing in the halves..i give him credit for his determination in keeping going after injuries that would make most players tentative on return...on what ive seen from the 5/8 contenders in the club right now i'd have him there in a heartbeat...maybe Sironon will come good ..i hope so but there's no sign of it yet....ok...laugh your heads off
BTW...bad luck for Halatau but it's great to see how fit he's looking..bulked up a lot which will make him pretty handy

We all remember Moltzen.....submitting in tackles or offloading to his wingers and avoiding the high ball not really that hard to forget.

Yep. We have a good fullback and a second rate 5/8. Bit of a no brainer. But probably needs to impress in a game or two in reserves... which might be hard while Moses is holding his own there.

Moltzen is a natural 6. He's got a faster & better passing game & running game than Anasta.

But thats it. He's worse than Anasta in every other aspect.

Moltzen could be a good 6 and maybe even a centre but he has had so many chances I don't understand why he would get anymore.

We also have good players in those positions.

Maybe because he is on a 300g a year contract and no other club want to go near him,so in other words we are stuck with him so probably worth giving him another shot, whats to loose???we have to pay him anyway and lets face it he would have to be a better option than Anasta and Lawrence

In the halves I would give Moses a go first and in the centres Nofo and SImona.

I am not convinced Anasta can be classed as a 5/8,to me he is more a spectator,a bit like the trainer except he is allowed to touch the ball and tackle if he wishes...lol.

Moltzen needs a stint in NSW cup to regain match fitness before he's considered in the team.
To be completely honest, I would really like to see him playing halfback in NSW Cup so that we have a replacement for Brooks in case he gets injured (God forbid!).

Timid contract ends at the end of 2015, yippee!
The only thing he has is speed (the running sort for you youngsters) and that was mainly across the field and absolutely nothing else.

Sheens ruined moltzen by trying to turn him into a fullback. If he had of played in the halves all his career he could have been a decent first grader IMO
