I don't know if anybody on here has seen the TV Show Red Dwarf or not but there was a a scene where the Rimmer character refered to the Lister as "The Monkey" But I think that might be more because the character was a slob. Draw your own conclusion.

Probably because he's not of African descent. His looks are a result of his West Indian descent, therefore it is in respect to both his looks and his heritage. Racist.
