Nothing really new, but the Leader says Steve Rogers "has opened formal negotiations" with Rogers' manager. Rogers says he is "hopeful of getting a decision in about four weeks." The rest of the article has all been written before.

On a different note in the front of the paper, here's what Hurstville's new mayor thinks about her beautiful area: "If God's bulldozer flattened Hurstville - as long as no-one got hurt - I think we'd all be grateful for a chance to start again."
