Congrats Due to Dean Caldwell and Samu Wara for their selection in NSW Combined High Schools side

Dean also played in the possibles/probables for the NSW u/17's (as did Tiger junior Luke Fahy) so with a bit of luck he'll be playing at origin 2

Wara is killing it at the moment I don't know why he didn't play last week against the Eels as he appeared to be all fine when he was warming up all the time during the game but this kid is going to be in the top grade!

Do you know where Dean is from Brook?Does Luke Fahy still play with the Tigers?(Haven`t noticed his name, that`s all).Do you know when the N.S.W U/17 team gets announced?

Dean goes to school at endeavor sports - not sure of his junior club although I have a sneaking suspicion he may be a wanderer (but thats mostly based on the fact that most good players in the balmain district end up there)

I don't think Luke saw himself having much of a future behind robbie at Balmain so he's signed with the roosters this year - wish him all the best (just not when he's playing us!)

Mitch Anthony Canberra Raiders
Joel Barton Newcastle Knights
Dean Caldwell Balmain Tigers
Geoff Daniela Penrith Panthers
Yileen Gordon South Sydney Rabbitohs
Jarryd Hayne Parramatta Eels
Brendan Hlad Newcastle Knights
Chad Isles South Sydney Rabbitohs
Ben Jeffrey Illawarra Steelers
Michael Lett Sydney Roosters
Jacob Ling Newcastle Knights
Rhys Lovegrove Cronulla Sharks
Shannon McDonnell Western Suburbs Magpies
Jarrod Mullen Newcastle Knights
Craig Priestly Cronulla Sharks
Dean Rysko Western Suburbs Magpies
Justin Wood St George Dragons

I find it funny that the two teams who played off in the final only supply two kids (Eels/Panthers HM Final)

But good to see the kids getting a go.

Dave would be too old I imagine

It gets confusing 'cause they have raised the age limits for ball & flegg but not the junior rep games.

All the good players always have played and always will play for the Wanderers LOL    It`s good to see Dean has made the side anyway. Also,Shannon McDonnell seems to be the only Flegg playing regular besides Dean, who have still been eligible for the U/17`s side!Congratulations to both of them as well as Rysko the other Magpie boy.

It`s Dean Rysko who made the N.S.W U/17s not Dean Collis,he`s about 19!

Yeah brain explosion from me, don't where I got Collis from.

Shannon and Dean Rysko are two young champions. Collis is a young Champion too but he was injured when the U/19's were picked.

"most good players in the Balmain district end up there."

Why's that? Please explain.
