We've all heard the terminology " No pain no gain" - well the dragons are currently going thru this as we speak!!

My belief is that the only way forward for our club is that we bottom out to the lowest ebb possible this season so that our management are forced to make the decisions that we all seek...there is no way they will tolerate a last 2 finish......

I know that we will be on the end of 2 hidings over the next 2 weeks against the Roosters and Rabbitohs which should see us floundering at the bottom of the table w 8 rounds to go..

The obvious will become more obvious at which point decisions have to be made and no doubt they will.....these decisions will be:

1. Head Coach - SACKED at end of season and before the semis are completed is my tip!
2. Player clean out incl: Weyman/Cooper/Fien/Vidot etc...
3. Secure a starting number 7,8,11
4. Head Coach Appointed

Pray for more pain and we will get what we all want!

Im replying to my own post!!

After reading my post this makes the most sense!! Our management must be embarrassed into making the right decisions for our future....our club is the laughing stock of the competition...

Price has been given enough rope to hang himself and 100 others!! there is no escaping the hangman - no way!! im certain of this..

speak for yourself mickey. i for one , and maybe the only one , want steve price to stay. i think that 2014 will be a good year. the inclusion of a couple of halves , in williams , presuming he does sign, and and the ex panther, forgotten his name at the moment , a couple of top forwards , the pom and thompson [ a ..cking gun ] , throw in kem seru and maybe one or both of the lolo twins and we will have a great squad .

I'm curious. Does anyone think that with the right players price would be able to coach the players into a great team. Does his stubbonous in sticking to players hinder his abilities as a coach.

I liked price when he coached our juniors. They won most games due to their attack. So he has ability to coach attack into a side on a level that defence isn't as strong as first grade.
He pisses me off but I hope with better players he would come good.
We don't have any halves that are first grade standard. But at least Quinlan and ruciman are playing even though they are forced.
OR we can sack him and get TIM sheens or brad Arthur as coaches.

I'm angry and confused.

I don't hate Price and I certainly don't see there being a better alternative at the moment. But you know you're a true fan when you hope your team loses.

f**k off mickey, f**king moron.

Can anyone name a player Steve Price has made a better player in his time as coach??

Now can anyone name a player who has gone backwards under coach Steve Price??

Start adding up the numbers and then you get an indiciation of whether coach Steve Price should be retained. This is his fulltime job for which he gets paid considerably more then the average Australian so I believe we're fully entitled to expect improvement in individuals.

Can we also add the players Price has recruited to the club to this list. If he has decided to leave the recruitment to Young/Doust then what kind of first grade coach is he??

Please: LEAVE STEVE.

With Folkes moving on i suppose wheels are in motion for a coaching change, and hopefully a couple more signings.

DeBelin and Stockwell have improved.

It is sad when you want your team to be flogged in our next 2 games (Roosters & Rabbitohs) to get your point across. But no one is listening and I am starting to believe that all is not well at the Taj Mahal. As for the coach making better players STOCKWELL & DE BELIN already had the ability and anyone who knew how to coach would have seen this. Same old cliches at press conferences, same player selctions, nothing learnt from previous loss's. At what point do we as supporters say enough is enough. Im not an advocate of lynchings and I saw that petition last week and seriously gave some thought to signing it.
It pains me to say it but the the one undeniable fact is this club is in trouble and some tough choices have to be made for 2014. Who knows maybe the wooden spoon for 2013 will stir the pot for the powers that be within the club and cause enough embarrassment for something, anything to be done......please

Time will tell because I don't think the Dragons will win too many if any more games this season. We will see if any OBVIOUS changes happen.

Stop the rot Dragons. Pi$$ him off ASAP.

Vanilla, I agree wholeheartedly it is a sad state of affairs. But for the good of the clubs future, if two big losses could guarantee the right "outcome" - I would support it. Yep sad but true
